This has a humorous way of fitting the theme. A few little bugs like some dead enemies shooting at me but I enjoyed reading the messages and had a good time playing.
Never expected an fps game to fit the theme for the jam but you did it, nice. Aside from the pink guy glitch you mentioned, I didn't really see any bugs that ruined the experience for me in some way. Only thing I found weird in the game is the part where you can sit in a chair, not sure what that was about. Also from what I understand, you needed to have a high enough speed to make the jump through that square hole where the chair was. Had I spent all my coin already and not have enough for the speed upgrade, would I not have been able to progress further through the game? That would've been a bummer. Other than that, like I said you made an fps game fit to the theme, good job!
Interesting concept and seems to be an enjoyable game. Well done developing it! I think I might have run into a bug - a purple dude was immortal and blocking my way to progress haha
Really cool game ! lots of mechanics & content for a jam game ! Kudos on that !
The conversation is a clever incentive to keep going and reach the end and the twist is very funny.
The visuals are really simplist but the whole thing is coherent & uniform so it still looks good. The Ui could use some polishing to match your visual style though.
Not sure if it's a bug but the mouse sensibility (for looking around) was very low for me but seemed ok with the shop opened.
also some coyote time on the platforming would be nice.
All in all it's a fun game. Great work
I'm not familiar with FPS, so it was quite difficult for me haha
I had some buggy enemies that were already dead, but still shoot.
Also enemies being able to shoot from super far is not friendly for newbies at this gendra like myself x)
Still managed to beat some levels. Good job!
Good job
Greetings, i'm from the https://itch.io/jam/lost-relic-games-1/rate/1579785 submission!
Delievering messages in between devices sounds like a good idea for me.
Sadly i couldnt really play the game because my mouse was too slow :( i couldnt turn arround and didnt find a setting to increase the mouse speed ingame. I'm using 800DPI Max.
Guess it would be a pretty cool game, because it also has upgrades!
This game is great! You got a lot of things right here. It might be the most fun game I've played so far. I liked that each level was rewarded with a new message, it was enough to make me want to see what the next message would be. One thing I really really liked was how you loaded each level seamlessly as the player is busy reading the messages, that was really well done, it kept the momentum up and gave the world this slight non-euclidean geometry vibe. I was surprised by the amount of mechanics you introduced too! I like that the level design varied quite a bit, some were more vertical etc. There were some buggy enemies but it wasn't too major, some were invisible but I could see their health bar and still shoot them. The mouse sensitivity was quite low, thankfully my mouse can increase the sensitivity.. otherwise, I think the game would've been quite hard to play and less enjoyable. I appreciate that the upgrades actually felt significant and it was always a nice reward after beating a level to get some kind of improvement and yeah, actually notice the difference in the next level, not a major difference, but still a difference. Really great work! :)
The gamejuice here is insane! Loved every minute of it!
This game has a really cool concept. I love how you incorporated the theme. I also love that you can buy upgrades, it all comes together really nicely. Well done!
Couple of issues for me though. 1) The gun sensitivity was incredibly low and made it feel pretty clunky to move. And 2) the purple enemies always stayed standing up when killed, so it was kind of confusing whether or not they died, and I keep shooting more than I needed to.
Other than great game. You could really take this in many directions. I hope you continue to work on it :)
Nice Game.
Really nice game! the message keep me engage and its really cool the concept, i love it!
A lot of fun mechanics in this alongside the text storyline made it quite engaging. Good job!
I faced some bugs like the enemies sometimes being dead and still can attack you.
Loved the concept though great job!
This game has a great level design with interesting mechanics that are different in each stage as you progress in the game. I like the story elements added in as it kept me invested to see what will come next! Some of the mechanics feel like they needed just a little more time in development, but they were functional and very unique. Overall, Fun game to play and good job everyone who worked on the game!
Nice Work! Really loved the different puzzle and platforming mechanics!
Really nice concept! good puzzles and gamefeel!!
There were a lot of really interesting ideas in this game that I don't think really reached their full potential. I really enjoyed being able to upgrade my weapons but it wasn't mechanically interesting enough to just stand on its own as a shooter, what I really appreciated were the texts in between levels to keep the player invested in the conversation and the puzzle aspects, such as pushing boxes, controlling vehicles and shrinking yourself to fit in tiny holes.
It feels like a shooter with puzzle elements that unfortunately doesn't feel developed enough on either end. I still had fun with it due to the amount of variety, going from shooting to a new puzzle in every stage but I feel it really could have been significantly more fun to build on a core puzzle idea with each stage. Had a lot of fun playing this!
Takes a minute for the game to get going, but there are a lot of worthwhile level designs to play after a couple of upgrades. Good work :)
