Really great entry, it is quite polished and stylish. The color choice is really neat and suits the graphics well, and the combat is snappy and fun. I think this is in my top 10 for LOWREZJAM 2020!

Did you work in a team?
This game was made by two people -- Ross and Aeris. We both worked on the programming, art, and sounds for the game. I (Aeris) had loads of fun! Learned lots about game design, sound design, level design, animation, etc.
What did you learn?
This my (Aeris's) most polished game yet so most things were new to me.

I really loved the graphics and the soundtrack of it, they're great!! The music fit very well with the scenario of the game, and the colors are very nice. Also liked a lot the design of the protagonist.
The controls are very responsive too.
It's a good and challenging puzzle. I didn't know the Tiger's Lights Out game, and I found the idea of it very interesting.
The minimap on the top-left corner is really helpful! I didn't saw it on first try, but really liked it when I found.
Loved how the shadows and lights are shown in your game. They gave a lot of depth and left the game much alive.
I just felt a little uncomfortable with the charaters velocity, I found that it moves too fast for the resolution, for both the player and the enemies. I wasn't having too much reaction for the enemies when they appeared. I think that being slower would be more pleasant for the player to reach the place that it wants, mainly because it's a puzzle.
It's a really nice puzzle game, I really liked the idea!!!
Congratulations for the entry!!
Hey, this is really nice. The art and sound are great, and the game plays well. One thing I did feel was that--while there is some juice when you attack enemies--when enemies attack you there is not very much feedback. Same when you get game over, it just kind of happens without any game feel. I know that's a bit of nitpicky thing to bring up, but that's because the rest was all good!
Thank you! I'm happy to hear that about the laser. I'll need to tweak the difficulty a bit. I was thinking of preventing monsters from spawning in the first few rooms, so the players can acclimate themselves with the lights. If this weren't a game jam game, I'd also add a small tutorial level as well. If you have any other ideas for fixing the difficulty, I'd love to hear them.
Really great! Awesome palette, lighting, effects. Love the music. Nicely polished. Great job! :)
Very nice adventure/strategy game!
Well implemented and with nice graphics/arte style.
Good job!
Ok I'm so impressed by this. Lights out with a twist. Very cool. Shadowcasting is such a neat feature and I feel like it's rarely used in the 2D world. Kudos!
I really impressed by overall look and feel. Really like how light works with sprites, this is a really interesting. I would like to know how it is implemented.
(Would I be wrong if I say that this is the SLSO8 palette? :D Good choice.)
just... WHOA! loved it, it is a very polished game! the palette is beautifull and the small light was so good i ended in pretty stressed situations trying to get a bigger raious of sign, i think it could be improved the feedback of beeing hit, like a dramatical camera shake or somethig, but overall it was very funny to play, Grats!!
This is so S T Y L I S H! I'm in love with the limited color palette and the lighting effects!
This is great, especially for a game jam! Loved the look and feel of the game. Felt good to control and the color palette totally fit the art style and gameplay.
Very good execution! I especially loved the way lights merge! The graphics were very nice and music was on point. I did get some issues with sound with some constant clicks going on. Probably something to do with my browser (chrome on Windows). Oh... did I mention that the shooting was extremely satisfying. The animation of the laser shot was very good and having the enemies break into small pieces was a good touch! Well done!
This game looks amazing. I love the lighting the game has, and the pallete is pretty nice. The audio in this game really works; the muffled music and sfx sound really cool together. The minimap was really helpful. I did find it somewhat frustrating trying not to get hit by enemies, since I can't see them until (probably) too late. Otherwise, love it.
EDIT: grammer
