The 4096 goaled helped give me a "win condition" for my game as I couldn't think of a satisfying ending. "You are the environment" encouraged me to make a game without proper characters and player controls.

Lessons
Absolutely, learned a ton about art, game polish, and fun core game mechanics / game loops. I learned that small scoped games can still take a lot of time, and big scope doesn't mean a good game.

I don’t think the game’s working for me? I see this…
…and nothing happens when I click or press anything on the keyboard. Have I missed something?
Whoa, haven’t seen that before.. did you try refreshing the page? What browser are you on?
Yep, I refreshed a few times – and it’s Chrome 127.0.6533.120 (Official Build) (arm64) on macOS 14.6.1 (23G93).
very fun concept and easy to understand, love the scoring system and timer so people can go for highscore / speedrun. maybe a death condition for highscore runs would be cool as the game speeds up and it gets harder to manage the attacks? also that way highscore games don't go to infinity
This was fun! Nice implementation of the theme, took me about 3:15 to get to 4096. Appreciated the tutorial and I got pretty into it, this is a really solid game concept and it was well realized, great submission!
I really enjoyed the game ! It was a bit confusing during the tutorial step, but I managed to quickly get the hang of it. Took me less than 5 mins to get the score needed. I can actually see an update where you have more tiles and new enemies.
Good job ! I love the game
Really satisfying to play. You did a great job on the tutorial too.
Something about that little sfx really feels like a dopamine rush! The tutorial was quick, helpful, and easy to understand. One of the better and more original puzzle type games I've ever played in a game jam. Really loved it!
i did it... this concept is very original, it's like a click tower defense puzzle game... not so easy to understand even with the tutorial maybe a video?...
Very enjoyable game, acts about the same as a cup of coffee )
Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it! :)
2:43 ( second try ). Awesome game!
Damn my hand hurts.
Nice time!!
Awesome game. After playing a while and being fully concentrated and submerged into the game I checked the score and realized that score is on 9999 already for a quite a while and time spent on game was >10 minutes. I think that if there was a some music accompany I would not end playing it 👍🔥
So glad you enjoyed it long enough to get up / past to 9999!! :)
I like the "plopping" sounds. It took me 4:30 on the first try to reach 4096. The overall game is nicely polished, well done!
Just played Click Click... BOOM 4096! I loved how simple yet complex the game can be! The game requires very little skill at the start but later on challenges you very well. Somthing I would have liked to see would have been maybe a way to unlock different squares to put down. Awesome job!
