Tools
Phaser, jsfxr and photopea. I'm already familiar with phaser so I could focus on the low resolution challenge.

Lessons
I learned how to palette swap sprites and make both players in a 2 player game controlled by the computer

This was such a fun game and a really unique idea. I have not seen many squash videogames but after playing this is would definitely love a fully-fledged online squash game haha. Some points I would like to make would be that it did take me quite a while to get the hang of it. I think it actually took me about 3 games before I successfully managed to hit the ball. I'm not sure how you implemented the mechanic for hitting the ball but perhaps adjusting the range for what counts as a successful hit could be a good idea. You could even change the range depending on the difficulty and maybe keep what you have currently for the harder difficulty. One other thing is that I encountered a glitch two times where the AI would not serve and I needed to refresh the page to start the game again. An amazing game overall!

This is really fun. It's a simple idea but done pretty much perfectly, one of my fav submissions so far I think, great job.

Really tricky entry to learn but quite fun!

I sadly got a weird error after restarting with the cpu, for some reason serving didn’t register, then later after losing the ball the cpu opponent just froze on top and while I could walk around, I couldn’t do anything else.

Will def. come back to learn and hone my skills a bit more, as I was a bit lost on how to control my swing properly. But the ball hitting the floor sfx could be toned down a bit in a later release, otherwise no issues here, well done entry.

Took a bit to get a hang of it (especially since I know ZERO about squash) BUT your tips were very helpful. The animations and how you utilized every bit of space to create depth really worked flawlessly. Feels well designed, great job!

I really like the visuals on this one the characters are fun. The way it transitions from the main menu into the gameplay is a really nice bit of polish!

As simple as the idea might seem, this is my favorite entry so far. The graphics are great, the sounds fit in just right, the absence of music actually supports the game. Definitely going to come back to this game later and tbh, this would make a great mobile game.

The AI is impressive! Love the 2 lil guys playing at the start. Also really like the animations and perspective. I’m terrible at it tho, lol.
