Sorry, but this game is impossible to finish. The camera doesn't move well and everything feels pretty uncomfortable, but the main problem is: in the second part, I met a huge bunch of shooting plants and even more are spawning. Is it a bug?

It’s fantastic to see another platformer, and I love the idea! It’s worth looking into techniques like coyote time and jump buffering (or bumping them up if you do already have them?) to make movement a bit more forgiving, but seriously, this is cool!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, I definitely will do that if I make another platformer.

Good: graphics, music, animated intro, bosses, simple controls, relatable story (the same thing happened to me this morning). Not great: sad I can't progress due to the crazy spawning bug at 2nd boss. Also, the parallax scrolling seems inverted, but it's still pretty and I guess can be justified because "magical forest".

This problem of milk in the kingdom is not to be taken lightly... Lord Evil really lives up to its name... Graphically it's rather pretty and we want to discover the rest of the adventures... but the player should be helped a little with more regular saves, a little feedback in the actions (when we touch or when we get touched) and I agree with several comments on the use of the mouse, I too would have preferred a keyboard button to shoot.

Developer

Unfortunately, there's a glitch in the forest level where the player spawns at the last checkpoint.

Great little adventure, but think i would have preferred no mouse controls.

Very creative and hilarious. truly happy to defeat lord evil

Nice animations on the sprites and impressed with the boss encounters! Platforming and camera tracking feel kinda stiff and could benefit from being a bit faster.

Developer

I'm glad you enjoyed those parts. We definitely struggled to make the movement and camera feel super clean.

I really enjoyed this one! It's a simple platformer that doesn't do much new, but for what it does do it does well. I especially liked the bosses and the humor, such as the villain being literally named "Lord Evil." Unfortunately I couldn't get past level two because I encountered a glitch where those lil' plant monsters spawned infinitely.

Developer

I'm glad you enjoyed what you managed to see, unfortunately, there were a few glitches that only showed up after uploading.

A nice little intro sets the stage, and I really enjoyed the graphics. However, I had some difficulty with the mixed controls, especially since I’m using a touchpad. An option for keyboard-only controls would be a welcome addition. The walking animation for the wizard feels a bit too subtle. That said, it’s still a fun little game that shows a lot of promise.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. I'm still new to pixel art and couldn't figure out how to make a better walking animation.
