How does your game fit the theme?
Since you need to shoot the trigger to begin the game and all danagers are generated randomly, so you may take a deep breath before shooting if you want to get more scores!

Platformer controls felt a bit too hasty. There are some good youtube tutorials about perfecting the platformer feel and jump, which I recommend checking out. I liked idea of entering straight into boss fight. The flashing screen part I didn't understand. Anyway, game jams are about challenging yourself to do and try stuff, so I'm glad you got this submitted. Well done!

It's an interesting idea but the execution is really not there.

From the game feeling quite random (since controls are fast it's hard to keep track where you are moving when you can't see the player) to the game just being a bit off (weird controls for shooting, would like to press a direction and automatically shoot, hard to start the level because jumping is super fast.)

I also don't see the theme in it.

But I think it could be a cool game if the implementation was better.

Just like the random dangers, this is tricky tricky tricky to rate.
The game definitely needs work to communicate to the player what it is about & what the experience is going to be. It is not an easy game to pick for an average player.

It's certainly a unique experience but I was very confused by the controls. I thought it was a bit too difficult to control the player and I got frustrated quickly :( A flash warning would maybe also be good when you hit the trigger.

The concept is very unique and interesting, but the controls and readability of the game need more work to make the concept shine. You should definitely stick with this idea and polish it further, I'd love to see it full fleshed out!

It's an interesting concept, but there's no gameplay here.

Interesting concept! Congrats for making a game, keeping it within the scope of what you can handle, and submitting it. Don't let that other comment discourage you. We all gotta start somewhere, and keep working our craft to grow. If you learned something new, leveled up your skills, and had fun, then you've already won something valuable.

I'm going to be for real here, you should not have even submitted this.

This is an interesting concept, and I think I get where you're going with the theme, in that, you can take a deep breath in-between rounds. Movement feels a bit floaty, and the controls weren't really to my liking, but this is a good start.
