How does your game fit the Magical Girl genre?
The heroes use weapons created by magical energy to fight enemies. Yuna has a double jump, Akari has super speed, and Meiko has super strength.

Which theme(s) do you pick?
World Vanquisher, Grievous Lady, Unknown X, Freedom Dive.

How does your game fit those theme(s)?
The heroes vanquish evil, the main villain is a grievous lady with an unkown past, and the heroes' goal is to free her heart.

Were the assets for your game made during the jam? Elaborate as you see fit.
I made most of the sprites during the jam. Some are from my old Scratch projects, and the music is royalty free from machinimasound . I commissioned the title and character art from a friend. The code was completely made up on the fly.

A platformer game where you can summon companion and stuff? I love it! I think need a little bit more polish on the velocity and acceleration for airborne movements. Other than that, this is a good submission. I had fun with it, good job!

Pretty challenging, but I liked the different abilities! The wall jump, dash, and double jump are all great mobility options. The basic attack combo with the spinning sustained attack was neat too!

The overall game feel was a little off... I had trouble jumping and dash together, and the attacking felt a little stiff. I also would have liked the option to go through the text a little faster during the story segments.

I liked all the original artwork in the game! The royalty free music you chose all worked well.

Overall it's pretty good game! Nice work.

The spinning circle attack of the boss is pretty hard to dodge especially when there's multiple.
I wish the level was a bit bigger.
The  magical girl change was a nice idea.
It's a nice game

I also found the game a little difficult, but I still liked the abilities the player had access to. I noticed some polish issues with text boxes - a lot of words would break unnaturally - but overall, I think this is a good result. I was particularly impressed with the wall jumping! Good work!

Nice job finishing this game!

It is a bit hard even on a normal mode (thanks for giving an option to pick easy!) due to how slow the main character is and how unforgiving boss attacks are (I couldn't beat the 3rd level after many tries). It was hard to tell what is dangerous to touch and what is not, that greatly contributed to the overall rough experience.

I like how you made so many cutscenes. And it was nice to see a megaman-styled saves.

Keep it up!

Thanks for the feedback! I've adjusted the third boss's speed to scale on difficulty. Hopefully that fixes some things.
