This concept bar none is the most creative game mechanic I've seen in the jam! Kudos for creativity. I like the presentation as well. One nit: the link in the game description that opens the 2nd tab should, um, open in a new tab. Hhaahahhahahaha.

It was a bit hard to know what to do with the two games only because the "half a world" text didnt compute to me for some reason. Only when I played the first one, then went to the second, did I realize the world were really connected. This is a very neat concept and the execution is well done. However, I did have a problem trying to put the code in.

thank you! unfortunately the code in this is broken I have uploaded the completed game to my personal itch though I just didn't want to update this one after the submission period closed :)

Developer

hey so apparently i uploaded the wrong one. it's a little different than it's meant to be

It's a really cool game with a really interesting concept. It would have been interesting if the aesthetics of the game had changed for part two to distinguish them clearly.

Really interesting concept! I did end up in an infinite fall after jumping off a platform on the right side of the stage though, also the link on part 2 of the game that's supposed to link to part 1 just links to part 2 again so you might wanna fix that :P

We had exactly the same concept xd except for the each one sees a different part of the world, this is very smart! loved the art and the music a lot too.

Ah we had the same concept but executed it very differently. Neat game level design was cool.

Developer

I'm excited to play your game. it's cool you had the same idea im a little disappointed

i didn't get to execute it but that's ok

Cool idea! I felt like the concept of having two screen was a bit hard to get used to but I could definitely see some puzzleish idea where two players play the game and need to communicate information about the obstacles to each other.

The art and the music are great too and I liked the level design.

Developer

Thanks yous! Yes that was the original idea but it didn't quite work out because there aren't enough puzzles other than certain things being invisible! I'm going to just turn it into a regular platformer though. and shelf that idea for later!
