It was hilarious and fun, something about the little dudes and you being able to get off the mechmade it even more entertaining!

Suggestions! I felt like some balancing would help with the guns, i hardly used the rifle cause it made no sense, I would probably make the bazooka kill tanks in one shot but is slower to reload, and the rifle keep it the same, that way it becomes useful for the infantry.

Overall it was really entertaining and made me want to see more!

This was a fun game, I like the 2600 like sprites!

Game has a lot of effects (camera shake, SFX, different animations, etc) but lacks functionality - Mech is undestructable when player leaves it (i was standing outside of mech) and was able to shoot (basically immortal). Also, why enemies were fighting each other (is it lore accurate?) As a solo creator myself I know how hard it is to do everything on your own, but It is essential to prioritize gameplay over visuals, meaning that you should make your game 100% operational and only after that begin to add some graphics. Anyway, good idea of "get out of mech" mechanic - keep working!

Thanks for the feedback, I am aware the game is lacks functionality I kinda focus on animations and effects for this project. I got excited towards the end I tought I cant finish it so thats why some mechanics are messy and lacks functionality. But again thanks for the feedback really appreciate it.

I wish if you pressed the weapon key of the weapon you had selected it would just switch to the over weapon, switching weapons could get a little annoying and I didn't get the pros and cons of each. I think the assault rifle is better for humans and the rocket launcher is better for the other robot things?

Ejection mechanic really cool, I wish ejecting felt a little more dangerous while also having it less janky to get back in the mech.

The screen shake while shooting the assault rifle was a bit excessive. I think switching to screen shake on hitting enemies would feel better. Also having enemies flash white when hit would be cool. Also this might be a personal thing, but taking out the little guys was a lot more fun than the robots. The robots were pretty spongey.

Cool game! I didn't realize you could escape the mech to collect HP, that's a cool feature!

A tip for future games: it would be nice to have instructions in-game explaining all the features and what the player can do.

I still enjoyed this entry a lot though, great job!

Developer

I put instructions but you should play in full screen to see it
