Planting. Hell Yeah!
The most mech of activities! xD
Thank you for playing!
Very cool for 2 weeks of work! Had to stop myself from playing it. My one issue is it starts kind of slow but otherwise very fun.
Thank you! I'm glad you've enjoyed it that much lol
As we expand the idea more we hope to balance that stuff out, so thank for the feedback!
MechDew Valley, yay! I like the concept but think the player needs more things to do while the plants grow. The grow time for plants are very long. Could allow players to chop trees, dig up rocks, mine for ore, etc. I did find 2 hidden seeds around. You will want to look at the fence next to the mountain because I was able to go up the side of the mountain a bit and go over the fence, haha. That was near the one seed behind the train. Luckily I was able to get out by doing the same thing, the mountain wasn't steep enough to stop me.
Oh no, we'd better fix that lol
Thank you for playing our game and the feedback! We're considering what kinds of activities should the player have in between waiting for crops to grow, we'll do some testing with those ideas as well :D
It's a very cute game with very endearing art and visuals. However, I think compared to other cozy farming games like Stardew Valley or Slime Rancher, they usually have more added to their gameplay loop to pad out the time between planting seeds and collecting crops. If there was more to do outside of farming and waiting to farm again, it would be 10/10
Thank you for playing our game, we're glad you liked the idea and the looks! That seems to be a recurring feedback point, so we'd better get working on it!
Very good use of the Relax optional secondary theme! Charming idea for sure.
Thanks for the feedback and for hosting the Jam! 💜
That was r e l a x i n g! The only minor bug I spotted is that sound is set to 0 by default, but maybe it's just the browser version problem. Other than that the game is just lovely!
We're glad to know it was relaxing, that lets us know the mission was a success 😌
Unfortunately that's not a browser version bug, it also happens in the executable version. The bug causer is between the chair and the keyboard lol
Aesthetically pleasing for sure. Though, I'm not sure if it was just me though, but the music didn't seem to play beyond the menu screen. And, as the previous poster mentioned, having a few more tasks would be nice as your plants grow such as expanding out the land and adding even more seeds to hunt.
We're very happy that you liked the aesthetics! Thanks for the feedback, we're keeping note of that!
And yeah, that bug is one that came to haunt us at the very end of the jam... It basically zeroes out your volume setting when entering the level, but if you pause the game you still have the options available and can change it again 😅
A decent start, I really like the idea and the graphics are charming. If there were more tasks to fill the time and more music, I could see this becoming a nice relaxing game.
Thank you! Having activities outside just waiting for stuff to grow is certainly a must, we are planning a few things out and we hope to continue developing this game after resting for a bit :D
