Good game! The double jumps are cool, but it is too tied to the original jump. Like it didn't reach max height if the jump button is released, and it didn't quite work when falling. It is not a big deal, but it might be something to reconsider, especially the falling one.

Agree with others that the mix of 2D and 3D is quite cool. The art could certainly use a second pass because there are a lot of conflicting styles going on, but I think if you really leaned into that combination of 2D and 3D you could end up in a very cool and unique spot stylistically.

The attack/jump/double jump thing was a cool idea, although I had some trouble getting it to work properly...? I'm intrigued by the thought process with that, and how it would look in a full game.

In fact, I would say that in its entirety this game has me very interested in what it would be like expanded and refined. Overall, good work!

A stellar blend of 2D and 3D elements, which is a rarity to see executed so well. Kudos on an outstanding submission!

Thank you for your praise! (^^ゞ

I enjoyed the double jump / attack ability, it was interesting to time it to get extra height!

I recorded the gameplay, you can see it at the timestamp at 07:44

Thank you very mucThank you for playing, and you were so thorough!(o゜▽゜)o☆ I did notice that you didn't use the skills you obtained from the treasure chest. I believe I might have missed providing the corresponding in-game prompts for them!>︿<

Idk, it felt like maybe I should have looked for hp or damage upgrades somewhere else and then returned to that area. I got kind of restless and just rushed the last encounter, but the spikes always got me in the end (╥﹏╥) Anyway I enjoyed the game overall, I wouldn't have made so many attempts if that wasn't the case!

The combination of styles looks interesting, but I would like to see the game more refined in the future. The controls are not too convenient, when you fall into spikes, you lose, because it is extremely difficult to get out of them, and dash is too hard to manage.

Love the mix of 2D/3D, reminds me of the Klonoa games!

blending 2D and 3D is a cool idea and I think its implemented technically pretty well, the aesthetic itself is pretty inconsistent though, the blend of pixel art and non pixel art characters was a bit jarring for sure. The combat also has a lot of potential here, good work!

loved the 3d setup, really cool game, needs some refining but love it

Thank you! \( ̄︶ ̄*\)) I also feel that the scene decorations could be more elaborate.

Pretty solid entry. Really like the mix of 3d and 2d. Makes it stand out from the other entries so far.
