I am glad you like the game! I am sorry you ran into bugs that stopped you from 100% the game! I read through your feedback and released 1.0.4 and I am hoping that fixes all of the issues you ran into.

Its possible you have to start a new game because of the bugs you encountered. Sorry about that!

Yes sorry! Had to take the game down for a little. Friend found a game breaking bug. Version 1.0.1 is released with a few bug fixes and additions!

Fun game I loved the humor you put in it "forgot to code in the doors and ladders" 🤣 Probably the best tutorial that I have experienced in the game jam. Was really easy and clear learning the controls in how to play. Good job!

Fun game! The dash jump feels really really good :D  Great job!

The few moments I was able to play it was quite fun! I ended up dying by the first spikes and now it is showing the first room but my player isn't in that room 😅 Even reloading I am stuck in that empty room. Love the art style though!

Wow that was so hard 😂 Super fun game I love the concept I had a hard time matching with the beat sometimes. The white border was helpful but it could be even more helpful to have a rhythm gage at the bottom. It was funny because just before the ground smash the spikes actually helped me time my wall jumps where as the section before felt much harder timing them. Overall great job!

I am not sure how to run the game with the files provided. I would love to try out the game but need help running it :)

It seems like you uploaded the game files and not the built version of your game. I don't seem to see a way to run it in the files that were provided :/ Let me know if I am missing something or if you end up re uploading the built game I would love to try it out!

Fantastic game! I had so much fun playing it! Felt super polished I loved all the wands you end up getting. The fire wand made my computer lag after using it for a while so I didn't use that one much. I loved the bubble to get up to high places and would have loved to see more platforming sections with that ability. Great game!

That was a fun gauntlet. The character design was great and the game felt great playing. Like the others have mentioned getting out of the water is a bit difficult and I did end up locking myself by swimming down to the right. I would drown respawn at the door but not have enough air to get to any safe spot. Overall great job!

Fun game it is massive 😂 took me so long to find anything at the beginning. First thing I managed to find was the boss which didn't go very well. A little guidance at the beginning can be super helpful for new players but overall great job!

Really fun! The grapple was a cool ability and I would love to see more of that in platforming situations :) The look ahead on the camera was nice but some of the enemies I fought I tended to toggle looking left and right which made the camera move a ton. I would suggest having a little deadzone in the camera before it moves. Overall great game!

Thanks! Yeah the sugar cubes aren't super clear, but they are actually health pickups in case you get hurt 😂

Thank you for all the really great feedback! My plan is to continue working on the game fix the bugs and actually add the environmental art now that I am not on a deadline 😅

Pretty fun too much dialog for me personally but thought the gameplay was quite good! Didn't expect a game without the jump button at the beginning but this pulled it off well. Good job!

That was honestly so fun! The boss fight was so hard I didn't know how to dodge the red tracking ones but I persisted and beat her!! Good job and thank you for making such a fun game :)

Loved the main character! The controls felt pretty good and it was fun to explore different ways good job!

I loved all of the enemy animations! Good gameplay it was easy to get lost but still really enjoyable!

Nice game the controls felt really nice to play with. I thought the spear ability was a really unique and cool one. I was however able to scale invisible walls and jump out of bounds with it but honestly that was part of the reason I liked that ability so much 🤣

Super fun game! I loved the environment and fighting dust bunnies was great 🤣 Really fun combat and a great boss fight. I would love to see more in the future!

Game looks really amazing! Love the style I got lost really fast but that's pretty normal with metroidvanias. Really good game nicely done!

Love the concept I would have loved a camera sensitivity option it was a bit much for me. I really like the idea of a bullet hell metroidvania good job :)

Love the concept and it was executed really well. Felt just like the old gameboy games! The controls were a little strange getting used to but once I got them down it was quite fun to play! Good job!

Really great game! I love the setting and atmosphere is really great! The only issue I ran into was when switching between the worlds I didn't know if I was suddenly going to switch into spikes or cannons so I would die a lot since I would just switch in the wrong place. 

Was a really cool twist on metroidvania forcing you to move froward but also giving you different paths to go down as you get abilities. I did get stuck not knowing where to go after I got the wall climb but still a really fun game!

The setting and forcing the player to stop their movement brought a lot of tension to the game which made it more compelling. Well done
