First off I really like the art and animations. Really plays off the source material well and feels different enough that its not a copy. I did notice some bugs where the next area wouldn't load or the room I was entering never came up! I think the theme could be interpreted a little better but overall impressive amount of work for this jam. Great job!

You made an RPG in just three days??? Wow! I'm impressed! The music is really nice, and I really like the variety of enemies you fight during the game. Using potions and other objects adds some more depth to the battles. Would've enjoyed some number indicators during battles, but the fact that you managed to make an RPG in just 3 days is super impressive. Well done!

Really, really impressed you made an RPG within such a short time frame. The world is great, with a really strong selection of enemies that all fit the theme really well, and an interesting variety of attacks. Was intruiging to explore and see what I could find
Would have loved to see more behind the scenes with the battles, seeing number values for damage done/received, max hp etc. would have helped me optimise my strategy, but everything was clear enough that I could still enjoy it regardless :)

I always love this style of game and I thought the pixel art was very well done as well as sounds. The action took a bit to get into but I still enjoyed playing!

It looks like there is a lot of content! The whole fight system is great. On the other hand, it takes time to get into the action.
Thank you! I am glad you liked it, I could up the encounter rate some. My initial thought was keeping the roads clear to recover in and the grass areas dangerous in more of a pokemon style threat.

Love the Pokémon style! Maybe you could make it so w,a,s,d also go through the moves because I could use them to walk and got a little confused at the battle.

but the critical hit of the ghost is too high,
I died in 1 strike from full HP in the beginning of the game :(
bummer I am sorry that happened, there was one ability the ghost had that was particularly strong. I experienced it myself and probably should have removed it. Thank you for playing!
Very impressive work, there's a lot of content here! I loved being able to talk to NPCs and interact with the world, it was great for story and it made things clearer in general. The overworld was well designed as well, since I never got lost and always found the next thing I had to do. The battle system was also very nice, and I'm glad you were generous with the exp! I did seem to burn forever, though, even between battles, which was a little unfortunate, and it felt a little unfair that my second battle was with 2 level 7 characters, but that might just be me being bad at the game :P. And it was still a fun challenge, definitely not impossible! I really liked the graphics as well, everything looked nice and clear, and the battle background was particularly pretty. Overall it was a solid game, and it was very impressive the amount of effort you put in - well done!

I played it again today and wow this game is slick. I ran out of time playing yesterday so I never entered a battle (I'm really unlucky) haha. Very smooth pokemon style battles I like it :)
