A very polished game I'm impressed with the visuals alone. I think gameplay could have benefited from an angled tongue but i understand under the time constraints that that probably wasn't possible

I would like to see some kind of further development of this game (adding levels as an option).
Nicely executed, the art style, the concept, the music, the sound effects, all very cute! This needs to be a full fledged game with power ups and all.

Really amazing entry, you are a very talented group!
The inclusion of a combo for staying off the group is genius as it makes you play in the most fun way possible, I am not usually a score chaser but this game kept me hooked.
Would love to see a online leader board but 3 days is tight for setting something like that up.

Tho took me a while to learn you can eat the meteors because you couldnt eat ghosts, not sure how to signal it better tho.

I agree that being able to eat the bombs isn't very clear, I haven't come up with any good way to communicate it beyond showing a screen in-game that just says "eat these things, don't eat this thing".
Random thought, what if the first few that show up are very slow, and instead of being a meteor they were giant flaming flies.
Them being flies might draw more attention, and if the first few are slow people will find it easier to try to eat them without fearing for their lives.
Just a thought!
Really impressed with how professional this game looks and plays for a 72-hour project! Took me a couple of flies to understand the mechanics but once I did I had a lot of fun! Also, the artstyle is gorgeous!

high score so far is 8350. Awesome little arcade game here. Love how you move towards a fly only if the tip of your tongue hits it, whereas it comes towards you if the fly hits your tongue in-between. Also love how you pretty much had to use a fly to grapple all over the arena when the floor starts to break. Great mechanics in use here. I'd say my only complaint is that death can maybe feel a little unfair sometimes since there may not be a fly which you can get to in time. Other than that though, great game
