Whoaaaaaa, this game is so good!!! It feels so clean, neat, and polished! The music and visual style remind me of old-school/retro games, it is so cute and enjoyable!!! I love the level design and progression, I feel like they were designed with much care and attention! The usage of the crates, too, was super clever! I really enjoyed the blood mechanic, it was super cute and innovative! Related to that, though, I think I may have found a bug? (But maybe I'm just bad ^^a) It's that when you restart a level while the blood is out and about, it stays that way post-reset and the character can't move;; That aside, I loved this game, it is so cute and so well made! It plays and progresses like a complete standalone project in and of itself! Excellent job with it, you two!!

thanks for feedback and glad you like it.

I guess I'll fix that bug and update it when the game jam end. I'm still not sure if updating the game when voting sessions is allowed or not.

Wow, this game was awesome!

The art, music, and gameplay were all polished. Specifically, the blood mechanic was very unique and a lot of fun to use! The levels were a good difficulty level and there were just enough mechanics to keep the game interesting. I’m glad you had a restart feature as I got stuck with the crates a few times. I also unfortunately soft-locked myself on the last level, so definitely fix that restart bug! However, the game was fun enough that I played all the way through to the end to get the cure.

Really fun game, great work from the team!

The pixel art is absolutely amazing in my opinion! Personally I love this style and it reminds me of few metroidvania I've played so that's really impressive! As for the BGM, it resonates well with the given theme Vampire, so that's a bonus.

The fact that this game has finished puzzle levels and fully functioning UIs for the constrained amount of time in production is simply impressive (I love platformer puzzle games ugh). The mechanics are also executed well (at first I was wondering why I can't attack them, but later on the game allows you to do so).

But I've encountered a bug wherein if you transformed into blood and restart the level, the character would automatically transform into blood but is nowhere to be found, and I'm assuming that the blood is in the same spot as where it was left before the restart. So, by restarting the level multiple times, the player is still stuck in the blood form and cannot revert back to the character's body, i.e., the vampire form. As for the reason why I did this, it was because I mistakenly pushed a crate against the wall, and tried to push it away from it on blood mode, but it didn't worked, so I tried to restart the level instead and the aforementioned happened.

Generally, these are my thoughts to this game. Very well done! (Also made with Godot! 😳👀)

Love the retro feel and the music was BANGING, the controls are quite weird but give it an unique challange.

The mechanics are also quite cool and unique

The presentation and polish in this game is astonishing! You guys work amazingly fast, and you should be really proud of this game! The visuals, the palette, the mechanics, the fact that the game has a pretty good amount of levels. Incredible work!

When a game gear's game meets NES's game. XD

Despite the process of defeating enemies this game is surprisingly polished.

WOW! Amazing game, the retro art style was super cool! a very polished and also very long game considering the time limitation. Well done, this is the best game i've tried so far, keep it up! btw, if you have spare time, i'd love to get some feedback on my game too

Very cool game and concept! The graphics are nice to look at and the game felt well designed.  My one complaint personally was the key layout, it might just be my brain and not being used to it but I felt a little weird using z,x and c. personally I would have preffered using the up arrow to jump and had x,c as they were. But other then that very cool game, awesome work!!

The sound effect and the music is create. I like the idea the character can switch to blood to attack enemies!

This felt really polished! Nice graphics and great audio. The difficulty could have been better, never really felt in danger when attacking enemies. I think trying to mix both puzzle and combat makes neither very good. If you plan taking the game further have it focused on one mechanic over the other. With both of your skills it will be amazing!
