Fantastic game!

Very simple yet incredibly well executed. The graphics, gameplay, and music were all crisp. My only critique of the music is that it sounds a little distorted, so if you made it yourself, make sure you don’t have any clipping in the track.

Besides that, awesome game!

Very nice game, made more fun then I expected after seeng the screenshots, very impressiv :D

Super super fun! There are some bugs and we realized we can drag the mouse instead of bashing left-click for more efficient play, but really really fun! Art is beautiful, music fit the game, good work!

Submitted

Great game! I especially liked the art and the audio as well.

I didn't realise I was able to "drag" my attacks until I read it in one of the comments.

In terms of graphics keeping all the pixel art a consistent size would be the only thing I can think of, but that's being really nit-picky.

Congratulations on this amazing entry!

very polished game.

this game is hard for me, but still having fun.

This game is very polished; the art, color scheme, BGM, SFX, UIs, and core game mechanics are finished and executed greatly.

Personally, I really like the pixel art, especially the variety of enemies ('heroes' as what they call themselves). Also the way the level progressively goes harder each iteration is just insane in a good way; the player must be careful of the purchases they'll make for the next round while at the same time these recent upgrades would only barely help you at all as the enemies' speed goes much faster, leaving it up to the player's reflexes on handling their numbers.

For a one man project this is so cool (also made with Godot so I'm happy to know it aaaaaa)!

Developer

Thank you so much! And hell yeah, fellow Godot programmer~★

Had fun trying to reach the "end. Love the upgrade system :)

It shows 69 blood during tutorial... , I'm gonna assume that is a bug. Great game , mechanics are addictive , gameplay is balanced , color palette is charming... Very good experience overall.

Great work! i enjoyed it, i thought it was click to kill, so then i didnt really "spill" any blood, until i played again and realised you can drag to kill..

Easy to understand the gameplay. I like the design of leveling up the power-ups. The music and the art are nice.

I'd love some feedback on my submission if you have time :D

I really liked this one,

maybe sometimes the difficulty curve goes up a little more than necessary, but it's a good game.

Initially I thought you only clicked on enemies, but then I realized that you can keep it pressed and then the gameplay gave me a Fruit ninja vibe. XD

This is undoubtedly the best jam game I've played so far, our replay factor is very high, the power-ups are pretty fun congratulations on the game, just saw 2 negative points:

 - Spiders didn't die (unless it was done purposely, so ok)

 - I just came to find out about the trail when holding the mouse button after some time then it would be interesting to do a tutorial,

but i loved, continue the project please.

Developer

Hey, thank you so much for checking out my game! The spiders not dying was a bug (heh) that I simply did not know how to fix.

Don't really have plans to continue the game anytime soon, since the code is a spaghetti mess and it's so hard to implement stuff, but I'd love to participate in another jam~!

WOW! Very juicy game, I love how polished it looks with all the particles and stuff! well done!

great little game, really enjoyed it!!!

Yay, I made it to round 20 and beat the game!

Well executed little upgrading game. I enjoyed the auto turrets a lot.

It took me a while to understand I could leave my mouse button pressed down, so I just rapid clicked on enemies for the first few rounds, but I think the game is intuitive enough, that it doesn't need a tutorial.

Great effort :)

Nice game, I really like the grafics and sound track, they are really fitting and gave a nice atmosphere. I also like that there is an upgrade system, this keeps the game interessting, as you can try different upgrades. I probably found something unintentional : if you press space, you just advance to the next level.

Awesome game, nice style and good balance.
Very fun =)

I love the sound and art style very good together!

Great game! I realy like the idea!  I just have one question: what exactly does the spider ?
