Nice game! the controls are responsive and tight , the mechanics is straightforward, and there is no need to fire, since this is a constant bullet shooter. The gameplay is challenging and is appropriate with the limitation, keep it up!

Simple gameplay but honestly enjoyable. Would be cool if there were more popwerups instead of one that increases attack speed.
Simple gameplay, but very effective! The artwork and music are charming, and the sounds give me the willies. It's a really good squish-crunch. I felt this was really well made. Great work!
Fun arcade shooter. I like the auto attack feature, it saves my poor hand.
High score: 37050
Nice game! The art was simple, yet effective, and the sounds were also subtle but definitely delivers. The concept itself, was also quite neat. Having the loss of a life be beneficial if the level gets too hard, makes the hearts work as a sort of multipurpose tool, where you'd mostly like to save them but if you can't, then you are forgiven. The difficulty was quite suitable and the content (for a 3-day game) was sufficient. One minor issue I had was the fact that you can't move diagonally. which sometimes made it quite difficult to traverse the area. But other than that, it was very well-made. Good Job!
Edit: Oh and also, the fact that you managed to add an online leaderboard within the time span was impressive!
Thanks a lot! ❤️❤️❤️ I agree, diagonal movement could have been better, but like you said, it was added to make the game a bit difficult. You can say it is a case of: It’s not a bug, it’s a feature. lol
And thanks for noticing the leaderboard! A huge effort went into setting up the leaderboard, specially given that network requests work differently in regular PC games and browser-based environments. Thanks for trying out the game, and the detailed feedback😊😊😊
It’s a very enjoyable game with great sound design and art!
Even though it was a little repetitive and simple (like others have pointed out) the experience was enjoyable nonetheless. The intermission mode is also a great theme/restriction addition provides a risk/reward situation as it can makes you destroy a level in exchange for a half-life. But, there are two issues that I found during the riveting gameplay (I think the hurtbox for the player is too big(?) and immediately pressing the controls out of a death makes the player going in a different direction than the one pressed, I think it stores the direction pressed before the death and applies it to the next movement, regardless of the button pressed). All in all, good game!
Thanks a lot! You are right abot the control glitch. I noticed that too. And it is exactly the case that the previous direction is stored and applied to the next movement haha. Most of my work went into making the online leaderboard, because there are lots of browser policies which restrict access to other domains. If I had more time, I would have tried to fix these minor issues and add more polish to this game. Thanks for trying out the game, and giving useful feedback :)
Yeah leaderboards take time. However, I have made a leaderboard system of my own, which helps me easily add the leaderboard to the games. If you are interested, you can check out ScoreUnlocked. Also, I am glad the issue was not too distracting :)
It was very fun and polished, great particles and sound effects! It did get a bit repetitive though, but fun nonetheless!
Simple and easy to understand. The sound effects are also nice. Halfway through the game, I couldn't type in the keyboard controls and had to quit at level 8. But it was fun!
Thank You very much :) As for the keyboard controls not working, were you using the web version? Because in the web version, there is a glitch regarding window focus. Maybe you have clicked on the side scrollbar, because of which the window lost focus. I had added the javascript code for focus, however that works only if you click somewhere else in the page apart from the scrollbar. That is why I added the fullscreen bar. To re-focus the canvas, you need to fullscreen the game and you will get the focus back. You can then continue with the fullscreen mode or press Escape to continue in normal mode. Thank you for trying out the game!
