It is really nice and fun to play game

I like the mechanic of using the little blips to gauge where to aim your attack! I think it would be useful to have some sort of visual indicator of where the spider is pointing to make aiming a little easier, even if it was a subtle direction cone when you holding down the button or something similar.

This game is really fun! I love the interesting pick up and play concept! The combo mechanic is also pretty cool. I just think that the flies are occasionaly too small to hit. Well done! My highscore is 218.

thank you for playing, yeah I'm thinking i should have made the flies pop out with some particles or a ripple effect instead of getting too small.

Love it, great concept sensing the preys felt like being a spider.

Got to 144 score. I like the concept even if playing a near sighted spider feels sad. Appreciate you going out of your way to add combo system and some vfx here and there. You should change aiming so that player can rotate freely left and right instead of only one direction.

Thank you for playing and the comment, yeah I think Im going to map the rotation to the "D" and "A" key axis and the pounce to be on space and completely take out the mouse, make it feel more like an arcade game, After the Jam.

I would have liked this a lot but the hitboxes of the flies are so small that it isnt very fun, you miss way to much even tho the textures are already touching.

thank you for playing and the comment , I'll update the hitbox of the flies tonight if I'm allowed,  thank you for the feed back.

Yeah you are allowed to make changes, but you have to keep the original build available for download too.

I think I'll just keep it like this until after the jam there is a couple more changes I would like to make like how the rotation works for example.

This was really cool! I think your game really gives the feeling of being a spider with like "sensing" the flies on the web and the sound effects and music were really atmospheric and nice. I think it was a bit hard to hit the flies if you didn't line up exactly with them and then you had to spin all the way back around to re-aim which got a bit tedious. I think if you had made it so you could move the cursor to aim the spider then click it would have been easier to aim since there was already the challenge of not seeing the flies except when they first spawned in.
