Graphics and sprites look very nice.

Nice game! I loved the sprites.

I got a score of 23, don't know if it's good though x) I got very stressed in the end haha, the heat goes out faster and faster right? xD I liked the pixel art, it had a clean feeling to it. Nice game! :)

Developer

Yeah it definitely gets harder to play as you go along, especially when the trees are gone. Thank you for playing! :)

Cute game! I like how the slimes can fall out of the trees lol. There was a bug that caused me to not be able to add logs to the fire anymore, but I wasn't able to figure out how to reproduce it.

Developer

Ah, strange. I got that bug exactly once in the time that I was developing it and couldn't figure out how to reproduce it either.  Thank you for playing! :)

Very nice game!! You are right it is similar to mine! However I like your take on the idea! The art was pretty good too!

Developer

Thank you very much! Thanks for playing! :)

This game has some really nice mechanics. The little fire animation was really nice and fluid.

Thank you so much for playing!

Good.  I have trouble waiting for the trees and berries to spawn and at a certain point there is no way to survive. Maybe I'm not good enough at managing resources and they can be stretched longer and wait for spawning.  The game looks good, nice animations, simple relaxed gameplay.

Developer

Ah no you're right, there definitely is a point where you can't survive. I did not add a way for the trees and bushes to respawn but that's a very good idea!

This was interesting as a concept regarding the jams topic and limitation. Cute sounds, beautiful piano in the end when I died. Play feel was great regarding walking speed, response to controls. Really liked, that you implemented an explanation right into the game. And it was fun :)

Developer

Thank you very much! :)

A very fun game, feels great to play. My main issue is that the heat bar refills too slowly after putting wood into the fire. So I don't know immediately if I added enough wood to max out the heat, it would be better if the heat bar refilled immediately.  Other than that, great job!

Developer

Thank you so much, and thank you for the comments! Currently there isn't an indicator of whether the fire is full or not, only the animation size changes as it decreases, and the heat bar is specific to the player. The bar going up immediately when the fire is full is a good idea.

Lots of fun chopping trees and relaxing by the fire while munching on berries, forgetting that the fire is about to go out and the nearest tree is miles away. It is around the 38 score points you realize that nothing around you but rocks and chilling to death is inevitable :(

Wish there was a warning that you are about to freeze. Died a lot at the beginning not paying attention to the heat meter.

Very chill and neat game. Good job.

Thank you so much for playing! :) Yeah I was considering giving warnings for when the bars are low, but I was just too burned out by the end to add them. I also debated adding a way to survive to day if you last long enough, but didn't get to that either. I'm happy these jams force me to make something in a stretch of time, but I always feel like I have so much more to add if there was more time!
