Thank you! We did our best this weekend :D

I was blown away by your amazing game! The graphics and sounds are so immersive and realistic. It took me a little while to get used to the controls, but once I did, I had a blast playing it. The 10-second limit adds a lot of challenge and excitement. You have done a superb job creating this game. Kudos to you!

Glad that you get used to controls quickly! We were worrying about controls, maybe we should’ve added one super easy tutorial level where you just have to walk around in all directions :) Thank you for the feedback!

Challenging game with great character design and overall vibe. Great work guys!

Developer

Thank youuu Glad you liked the game

What a mood! My only regret is that I was getting confused about the directions right/up. Otherwise, top game, well done team!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback! When you get used to controls it’s pretty good. We’ve also added a little shadow for the player so now it’s a bit easier to navigate. You can try it out!

I did, and this time with headphones! Wow! I'm in love with the sound design. So immersive. Again, well done.

I love the game design, it's truly clever; the graphics are unique and the sound effects really bring it to life. It's hard to believe it was made in just a few days.

Developer

Thank you for checking out the game! Glad you’ve liked it <3

I think that is quite a clever way to incorporate the time constraint.

The presentation is top notch, even if the controls feel clunky sometimes. But nothing that can't be fixed. :)

Developer

Thank you for your kind words! We’ve added a little shadow for the player so now it’s a bit easier to navigate. You can try it out!

The quality of the game for a 3 day game is insane, you can tell you're a team. Very good work, you have a very nice base for further development. Congratulations!

Thank you! We were literally working all day long all weekend to make this game before the deadline T_T

the graphics for this game are quite good, although the various visual elements (background, character, dialogue) kinda clash with each other and don't fit together. I think conceptually the game could be pretty good, but the movement is not good. Either add some sort of shadow for the player to see where you're actually standing, or make the movement grid-based.

Developer(+1)

Hi! Thanks for the feedback! We’ve added a lil circle shadow to the player so now it’s a bit easier to navigate. Controls are just need time to get used to, but it’s pretty nice when you do. We decided not to move forward with grid-based movement because we wanted more challenge in platforming, like inertia and precise player positioning

Wow, I like this design and colors!

This looks beautiful and the use of limitation is very good! The controls were a bit harder to get used to though.

I love your bug fable looking moth, it looks so glowy and polished during the dialog.

Developer

Thank you! All credits are going to our visual designer ;)

This is astonishing work. Amazing art and the sound was perfect. Good use for the 10 seconds limitation. The controls were a little hard to use.

Developer

Thank you! Yea it require some time to get used to controls, but in this isometric view a lot of paths and roads are diagonal so we decided to move on with this movement behavior. Maybe it’s not a best practice tho :P

The shadow helps with knowing where you are, good idea.

This game is gorgeous! I wish it was a bit more intuitive to control. I might have been doing it wrong (?) but I found WASD controls tough because of the perspective. I ran off the edge of the (beautiful) platforms quite a lot. But like, 15/10 would come back just to appreciate the visuals.

Developer

Thank you! Yea intuitive controls was a challenge with this isometric view. Maybe it would be easier to play on gamepad? There is a gamepad support so you can try it out

Submitted

oh awesome, I will try that!

I wasn't able to get my controller working with the game (I have an xbox controller), but I tried again with keyboard, and ended up beating it. It took a bit of time, but once I got used to the controls, I mostly didn't run off the edge anymore. Really loved this game, and again, it is SO gorgeous. The way the blocks fall into place when the level loads is also super satisfying. Great work!
