I am not able to move the hook (not with arrow keys, not with WASD).

- Firefox/Windows

- Tested embedded mode and fullscreen mode

- Pressing the keys, but the hook does not move

As anyone else here is able to play the game, I think I make a mistake?

You can try reloading the page, or press tab until the game is focused. I had the same issue on Firefox/Linux.

I faced the same issue at first and found out that it happens when you run the game and then press the full screen button. Going full screen first and then running the game fixed it for me.

That was pretty fun, my first time completing the whole game was 53 seconds! Im going to go back and see if I can beat that. I really like how the scene changes as you fish, creates a nice feeling of time passing by. The mechanics are pretty fun and simple, like i knew what to do and it was easy to get the hang of everything.  Presentation was good, though some music might have been nice, but given how fast the game can get it didnt bother me at all. Really good work!

Developer

Thanks for playing! I really wish I could’ve made some music, but I’m not that good at it. It would’ve probably made the experience worse :P.

Very relaxing experience. I like the little detail that the sun moves in the levels and you end up fishing in the sunset. Good job!

Thank you!

This is one of the most creative ones ive seen in this jam and had a very good art style, if i had anything to suggest it would be having a chance to drop the thing you are carrying to make it harder to get stuff form the bottom

Game felt very smooth, pretty fun idea!

Nice small game! It will be cool if they were upgrades that you can get more fish in one cast.

Cutee, reminds me of that game in the iceberg in club penguin, that you go deeper to get fish :3

Very charming game with a unique concept too. Great job

Thank you!

I thought the game was too easy at first, but then I learnt that you can cast the hook deeper to get better catches. I'd definitely alert players of that possibility, as it's not immediately obvious.

This is one of the better jam games that I've played.

Developer

Thank you!

I don’t know if I’m allowed to modify the game at this point, but I added it to the description.

Fun concept! Maybe just a tad easy, do the obstacles stop moving completely after you catch a fish? I wouldn't have minded some challenge while trying to reel them in

Thanks for playing!

Yeah, I was aiming to make it easy so completing all levels wouldn’t be too frustrating. You can still make it harder by going for treasure every time!

My bad, I didn't actually explore deep enough to find the treasure (always ended up catching something on the first/second screen), I tried again and it is actually harder if you aim for that, nice job!

Developer

That’s one thing I was worrying about, that people wouldn’t dive deep. Maybe I’ll add it to the description.
