A very pleasant execution of a classic. I love how much character it has and the overall polish with sound and danger telegraphing! It really looks lovingly created, keep gamemaking please!!!

The game is cute and fun to play, but the Use of the Limitation is not very creative

Interesting interpretation Doodle jump mehanics. Very cool graphic arts, and sound design! Very fun :)

Good job!

This is a very adorable game -- the color design is also extermly well done. I could EASYILY tell what kind of platforms/hazards I was dealing with as I was jumping. very well done all around

If you have time I could also use some feedback on my submission as well as a rating

Way too cute. rated one of my favorites.

I really liked this one! So cute, specially the art and sound. My only suggestion would be to make the "spikes" more visible. At least for me it's very hard to see them. Other than that, it's a great game that made me happy while playing it.

Loved the game!! The presentation is amazing, the sound effects are satisfying and the gameplay is fun. So good!! :))

Amazing presentation, I can see you put a lot of work into it. It's a cute doodle jump type game. Good job!

Great art and overall amazing presentation. Whole design was very cohesive, and you even went all-out on the project page. And "grid paper" is a novel interpretation of the limitation. Very cute. Well done!

Oh, right, the game is pretty fun too. 👍

My personal record. Who can beat it?

A really nice jumper-kind-of game, nice graphics and sfx, and quite good playabilty, it feels a bit slow at times, but that is just somehting to get used to ofc Really nice presentation and polished feel!.

The spikes were very hard to notice, and there wasn't much warning to avoid them.  I'd like to see slightly further ahead or have faster side movement for that.

I love the art and audio, could use music.

Developer

Yeah, adding spikes was pretty controversial. The artist said they weren't very good, but I wanted to add more hazards for the player. As we can see, he was right :D Thanks for your feedback!

Great work, havent played a doodle-jump style game in a long time!

Constructive feedback:

  1. Having it start automatically,  is horrible, you always start dead. this would be great if it starts as soon as you press a key.
  2. Having to click "restart" when my hands are on the keyboard, is frustrating, because as soon as it starts, i die.
  3. Being able to jump on an enemies head to kill them (like doodle jump)
  4. the spikes on the bottom of the platform .. Is a no from me.

Thats just my 2cents :P other then that, good work;

Thank you for your kind words and criticism. These are good points. I completely forgot about that feature in point #3. I think I'll polish the game up a bit in a couple of days. Also, could you please clarify point #2? I already added pressing the R button as a restart, but I may have misunderstood you.
