Use of the limitation
Speed is key because the player has to speed up to make higher jumps and collect points. Wavelengths also represent the speed light travels to create different colors, which is a core aspect of the theme and storyline of my game.

greate gamme, kinda like dune app?
Very fun and soothing gameplay. I tried to play it like Tiny Wings and held spacebar for a bit but then I figured out to tap spacebar and I got a good speedy groove going when I hit blue. Awesome jam game, great creative use of the theme and limitation.
Great concept i had problem witg controls cuz i was trying to hold space downwards. got hold of it after minute tho. great job
i really loved the game "tiny wings" when i was growing up, this game is really great! the movement i think needs a little tweaking, but the art & music choice are super great! the main character is a cutie as well.
Very cool use of light in the form of the wavelengths. I really like the art as well - game felt cozy.
Found myself wanting a longer, more relaxed version of this with your art where it was easier to start & maintain the fast movement portions since those are the most fun parts of this type of game. The movement felt a bit unforgiving at times, which caused me to not be able to keep those longer movement streaks.
We had tiny wings on our miro board while we were brainstorming ideas. In an alternate reality, we would have been game twins :0
Movement system is a bit tricky but it's unique and fun. It would be cooler if waves weren't so repetitive, but I guess they wouldn't be waves then.
Also, it would be nice if the background wasn't just grey, maybe you could use complementary colors.
thank you for the feedback and thanks for playing! Yeah, I think I could have strayed from the waves being so uniform and the idea would still come across, for the sake of making it more fun. Maybe if I come back to it I’ll make the update. Changing the colors is a good idea too, I think that could make it more interesting.
Really nice concept! Love the intro animation and sound design; Great music choice!
I really liked the way the waves spread out from green to blue, the blue waves felt super nice!
Over all great game!
thank you so much for playing and for the kind feedback!!
After focusing on the waves for so long, the static text is moving on its own! My eyes hurt... but really creative concept!
I thought it was just me from working on it for so long and staring at the screen for hours! Thanks for the feedback!
Reminds me of dark souls on minimal settings :) I think it’s worth adding a hint for optimal pressing. For example, like Hi-Fi Rush, then the game will become a little more accessible.
That's a great idea! Thank you!
Really Fun, and the smooth transitions between wavelengths combined with the nice intro and outro show you spent the 3 days wisely. My only problem is that it is hard to get the hang of it and once you do the game becomes too easy on all levels, I feel like this is an error with the concept itself. But the game is really fun with a cool and unique idea, executed well.
Great Job!
Thanks so much for playing and for the thoughtful feedback! I agree that the difficulty sways back and forth quite a bit - it was way harder than I had imagined it would be to tweak each color/level to be different enough to be noticeable but still possible. I was taking inspiration from Tiny Wings which has a lot more variation in the size of the hills and placement of the coins which I think makes it a lot more interesting and fun. Glad you enjoyed it and appreciate your review :)
