The game's premise is to hack "nodes" and acquire the entire network. By clicking on a node, two things happen: the node is hacked, and new connected nodes appear.

Fun mechanic! Loved the simplistic aspect of it! Hope you will continue to develop this game!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it!

Really fun game! Excited to see if you continue developing it into something bigger

Developer

I am glad you liked it! There are some more complex ideas that sound interesting on paper, but we'll see how things go.

I think the idea is fun and has a lot of potential, a big space to throw different problems at the player by changing the behaviors of certain nodes, adding capture conditions, etc.

It was a bit easy. With more time and balancing I can see this really popping off. Overall I quite enjoyed it though! Again, really nice idea.

Thank you for the feedback! I can tell that balancing this game will be the real "problem" it throws at me. I'm just glad I managed to finish the counter-attack feature in time.

I could imagine this game scale to unimaginable proportions! Kind of reminds me of a game about ants that was published for the GMTK gamejam. Pretty cool!

Developer

Oh, THAT ants game! Yeah I had a bigger network in mind with multiple central locations and a more sophisticated connection system across the whole globe. Kind of like Plague Inc., but over the global internet. (Good luck closing the borders, hehe.)

"Your network blongs to me now"

I like the idea and I feel this being expanded on would make a great game. Took over the master node which was alot of fun

Developer

I agree, many games started as small concepts in game jams and such. By the way, you should check the updated version for some more context. I didn't have time for any UI during the MiniJam. Did not expect to have so much to do)

A very engaging variation on classic graph-based strategies. But the idea of multi-level gameplay really appealed to me. I completed it with great pleasure!

Really fun concept! I liked juggling to protect my nodes while taking over the enemy's. It seemed like the player power ramped up a lot at the end and I'm not sure if there was supposed to be something after the biggest node, but still enjoyed it.

Hi! Thank you for your feedback! I agree, it's quite easy to gain a lot of cash. When I was planning the game, the numbers seemed okay, but in practice, there are way too many nodes. However, with fewer nodes, the game felt quite boring. That's how my thought process went.

Oh and almost forgot, I have made an update (quite a bit of polish and fixes), that completes the game with proper UI and story. Feel free to check out the updated version!
