loved this
love the design, the dialogue, and the story! simple yet satisfying!
Can't wait to be finished! It's so good.
Really polished, amazing what can be done in the time allowed.
In C no less!
Really nice work! I can't wait to see the finished version.
WOW this is an overall amazing game the visuals were great the sounddesing was amazing and the atmosphere as well and everything was super polished.
Wow! Art, sound, atmosphere, all great! please finish it, I want to play it to the end.
That was very scary and atmospheric. And this open ending makes me think about the game again and again. Great work!
One of my favorite games on this jam <3
Great atmosphere and art!
That was a fun experience. That girl is terrifying
The art and atmosphere was great, though I played through it twice cause I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be a time loop or something >.<
Hard to critique gameplay for an atmospheric horror game, so my only critique is that the art was kind of static. And I know firsthand how hard it is to animate on a short time budget--I just mean that some more layering/parallax in the backgrounds or lights flickering would have been nice additions to the atmosphere, some more dynamic graphics code work would make that beautiful spritework really pop.
Can't wait to see what you have in mind for the ending. Good job!
I have no idea where to even start with this game! It's absolutely astounding! The sound design is amazing, it looks great, the atmosphere is tops. Really great. I just wish there was an ending, because I would really like to finish it
Wow, wow, wow, wow! This is amazing! Atmospheric and tense all the way, and cryptic as well! I'm amazed this was made for a jam
Damn okay. Absolutely love the atmosphere. What's up with children and there totally inappropriate behaviour in horror settings? LMAO. Thing was a little confusing was that I didn't know what the old man gave me so I kind of had to talk to everyone to figure that out. Would definitely love to see more! Love the fact that you wrote it in C, how does one go about exporting that to the Web?
Thanks for playing!
To port a C or C++ game to web, there's this amazing tool called Emscripten that compiles it all to JS. It works really well!
I really love it. The art is awesome!
Thank you kindly!
