I liked your game! You have a great gaming concept. Seems simple but it isn't. Great idea! And a very good game implementation. I also liked the sound. It's worth noting the name of the game! This is the best gaming title!

Cool game and cool concept.  Funny name as well.

I liked the bgm and the sfx. The particle effects were nice and juicy. I wish the colors were easier to distinguish. Nice work!

The lighting effect on the eyes was really cool looking and matching the color was a fun mechanic -nice job!! :D

Simple and solid game. The light processing is beautiful, but depending on your color vision characteristics, this game may be difficult to play. I would have liked to play a mode with fewer colors.

Well, I finally beat my own score!

Used the 3 lives modifier!

It's really fun! It would be even funnier if obstacles weren't entirely randomized. Some times it lasts a lot to appear an obstacle that I must hit.

The visuals are great but some times is hard to know which obstacle I must hit because of his color.

Developer

That's a great point, I should really look into adding pseudo-randomization to my next games if I do RNG mechanics.

Decent arcade game. It feels satisfying to play, plenty of juice but it has some frustrating issues…

I’m not colorblind, but I can’t tell which green to avoid :( same with blue, it seems like the colored lights turn other colors into shades that are really similar to the color you actually want to hit. The best solution would be to add an indicator to every fish that’s the right color, so you don’t have to guess.

The fishes have quite big hitboxes. I wouldn’t expect dodging into the tail of a fish to hurt me.

You get no invincibility after getting hit. So a single mistake can easily put you in a position to lose two or more hearts. You probably don’t want it to be this unforgiving.

I scored 69…

Cool, very fun! Nice to see a new take on these types of games, really makes it more "fresh". Love the responsiveness swooshing around. Did have trouble reading the colors, blue, another blue, purple, tints from the bloom etc. Great fun!

Fun game, my highscore was 44

Super interesting the way to score points, but it feel hard to know the match for some similar colors (light blue and blue for example)

(+1)

it is very hard to tell if certain hues of the green or blue are the correct color with the eyes especially the changing screen color throws me off. Other than that the game is nice, fun and chill to play

Very good concept and nice effects ! On the other hand I had trouble differentiating certain colors

Submitted(+1)

Nice PostProcessing effects and overal good looking and fun.

Submitted(+1)

Good looking overall and reasonably fun, though as others have mentioned some colours can be very hard to differentiate under certain lighting conditions.

The feel of the game is really on point. Also very addictive to play.

The style is just phenomenal. The light is such a cool idea. The movement is really smooth and I love the teleporting effect

Really cute! Loved the particle effects and the cool ghost effect. Personally, I had trouble at points discerning some of the teals, yellows and greens due to how the colored lights affected the fish, maybe if the fish had an outline of color or something, that issue could be avoided. Would love to see more done with the ghost concept and this game as a whole in the future! : )

Really nice art style and game concept! I found that there was sometimes a weird delay and hitbox offset when the cat moves up and down, but I'm not sure if that was on purpose or not. Overall, pretty nice game, I enjoyed it!

Developer

I'm glad you enjoyed it but I'm genuinely confused as to what you mean, do you mean the ghost effect? Then yeah that was intentional!

Submitted

I loved the ghost effect, but I'm referring to the cat's hit box seemingly being able to hit the fish for a split couple of seconds after I moved out of the way. Not sure if this is because of the hitbox sizes or my framerate, but it was only a minor issue and the game was still super fun in spite of it!

Developer

I think you might be talking about the risk mechanic I added that gives you a point if you are close to the front or back of the fish? It should award you a point without the fish exploding if that's what you are talking about?

Submitted

Ah, you know what, that's probably what was happening, but because I was so focused on dodging I probably didn't notice it wasn't damage lol, my bad!

Submitted(+1)

this is a nice fun little game! would have been better and accessible to a wider audience with some kind of pattern or shape differences between the different colours of fish — at least differentiating you-type from other-type

simple concept, shiny visuals, nice :3
