This was a nice surprise to see a wild west game submitted, it looks pretty sweet environment to have a shoot out and I think the level design was pretty good honestly, I was not cramped, gave plenty of room to shoot our and hide, Proportionately everything seemed great except for the actual saloon which seems to be roughly 20% to small and could with being slightly bigger.
I don't know if it was intentional but on every new level load I was rush immediately by all the enemies shooting at me and with nothing but some trusty side-stepping and clicking the button firing my little heart out, it felt pretty difficult. I found myself on the second level running around the back of a house to separate the fight to be a little fairer for me. This still felt pretty good.
The controls could have been a little better, by which I mean the camera felt a little awkward to move, maybe if it was zoomed out a little (slightly) so I could see the cowboys hips upwards, maybe even when you are not shooting the camera could show all of the cowboys but when firing the camera zooms in a little to frame the action and what you are shooting at.
I would love to see the bullet velocity increased as whilst I was side strafing I found bullets missing a lot, because of this it became a little frustrating but not enough that I couldn't complete all 3 levels.
Great use of limitation and concept, would love to see more polish and tighten up the controls.

Thanks for the feedback! We plan to fine-tune the controls, such as adding a crosshair, and work on the camera to make the game a little more intuitive. Unfortunately I didn't have much experience with 3rd person cameras, and with the time constraint being what it was, I didn't have much time to figure it out. I shall play around with the camera angle and position to see if I can make it work a little better.
Good looking game! Controls a bit unresponsive, but it's not so critical.
Great game! I like the graphics and the music is very good!
Difficulty is well balanced and the level design was good, but the enemies would always end up clumping up in a group and then the player could just keep turning into a circle around them and shoot them while they would miss their shots since the player is constantly moving, which just took away from the action a bit.
I like the slider bar that needs to fill up when your in the red zone so the player doesn't just sprint towards it and win, this was a great design choice, good job!
Overall a very fun and polished submission!
Thank you for the feedback! We also noticed the enemy clumping issue and the strafing tactic, and are planning to fix that with more shot randomness (similar to the decreased accuracy while sprinting) and better AI in future updates. Glad you enjoyed it!
You're welcome! Keep up the great work!
I can see the appeal in the game. nice animations, fitting music. I'd suggest pulling the camera back from the player to let them see more. the third person camera control needs some work maybe take a look at other third person shooters for reference. The current controls are serviceable but I couldn't ever get comfortable with the controls it was just too slide-y and effected the aim a lot. the level design is decent and the game UI looks very nice.
Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately, we couldn't really fine tune the controls due to time constraints, but we will definitely work on them in future iterations, and will post the full WebGL version of this game on our club website (to be created) when it is finished (hopefully in a few weeks to a month).
I wish there was a bit more to it. The idea is nice but the only strategy here is either strafe and shoot the enemies ad nauseam or ignore the enemies completely and strafe to the goal. Also putting enemies at the very start makes it hard to react to them and entering the buildings in endless mode shows that the camera was not really made for this. Other than that the controls are great and I really like the aesthetic. The cutscene and UI elements are also great. Pretty good job!
Thanks for the feedback! We are planning to add more powerups and stuff in the future, we just didn't really have time in the jam. Same goes for the camera, we created a static camera and basic rotation at the very start of the jam assuming we would change it later, but when there were only 3 hours left in the jam and we had like 1 level, we kind of gave up on that endeavor.
Love the western ascetic.
I found the menus a bit confusing, I was never really confident i understood what anything meant.
it took me a bit to find the controls.
I basically just spammed jump, left, and shoot. I found myself wanting some nearby cover or something to form more of a strategy around. Having the enemies communicate when they are reloading to the player would be nice. I think I noticed pauses in their shooting. so i think they have some reloading logic. I found there where sometimes enemies behind me that i didn’t notice.
Anyway good submission.
Thanks for the feedback! There is some reload logic for both the players and enemies, although we didn't have enough time to make a reload animation so we just kind of went eh. We will also probably add more bullet randomness to the sheriffs (kind of like the cowboy has while sprinting) to make strafing less OP.
Nice work on this! I really like the way you used the limitation to tell a simple but clear story, that also involved the gameplay. I think a crosshair would have made a big difference and perhaps some faster responding controls /less floaty feeling, but its hard to fit it all in with such a short timeframe, so really good job. Really liked the music and your menus, logo etc too. Nice.
Thank you! Yazlo made most of our UI stuff, and I think he did very well. A crosshair is definitely a good idea, and we are planning to improve the controls in the future. Thanks for the feedback!
now this is a good game partner although shooting has to be improved
Thanks! Yea, we are planning to add more guns and better controls in the future
It’s a nice shooting game and the hat is kinda cool. I played the web version. Having a crosshair and more responsive controls would be nice.
Thanks! Crosshairs would definitely be a good addition. Try clicking "C" in game, it does a quick 180 degree turn and is really helpful if you strafe forward and then shoot the people behind you
The Game was Good & exciting. I finished first 2 levels.
I have also taken part in this Jam. You can check out my game.
