I thought “this is simple”, then I couldn’t stop playing! Good game for a jam.
Wow, my trackpad is never gonna be the same after playing this XD
It was pretty fun, but the difficulty ramped up wayyy too fast. I liked the detail where the ship rotates. Kinda reminds me of rolling tic tacs
The UI could use an improvement but seeing as it was made under 72 hours with no game engine, standing ovation.
Good work!
Very cool game bro! I suggest make it even a little more easier, good luck! :D
very hard. I'm sweating
Cool game! The difficulty ramp up seemed a little too quick for a jam game. Well done.
I just realised that, I fixed the ridiculous skill gap issues. Thanks for your feedback!
Very nice! Rust + macroquad, kudos!
Man, I made my game with Construct because I don't know how to code, AND YOU MADE YOUR GAME ENGINE ALONG WITH YOUR GAME?
Hat off.
Anyway, I gotta say that the mechanics are quite simple and easy to understand. However, I can't really tell the difference between repairing the ship and starting all over again (except the part where my fingers hurt lol).
Still, pretty nice game, I understand that the time might have played a big role on your game not being the way you wanted it to be, but still it's a fun game to spend time playing.
I agree, the game is overly simple. Hopefully next jam I can get started at a reasonable time and get a game with much more depth out and with no later regrets. Thanks for trying my game out!
You're welcome! I'm sure if you do what you have done with this game starting at a reasonable time, you can even get #1, and the extra effort would be much more appreciated. However, simpleness isn't always a bad thing, I think it doesn't depends totally on the mechanics, instead, if the player gets to know them. I could have like 5 different mechanics, but if worked properly, the game would remain simple to understand. Hope to see more of you on incoming jams, pal!
Damn, not using a game engine is megachad, and within 12h too ? Good job there! I actually had fun playing!
Thanks man! I really appreciate it. For my first jam it wasn't the most ideal time situation but at the end it worked out :D
It's admirable that you made the game in under 12h and without using a game engine!
Although it is a simple game it works perfectly, maybe the graphics could be improved, and the fact that the UFO rotates is a bit uncomfortable to me, I swear that the hitBox of the UFO is a square but the UFO is rectangular ^^"
thanks for the feedback! The game in theory should be fast paced enough for you not to see anything wrong with the hit boxes, maybe i was wrong. The reason why the fish spins is because i originally planned for the game to be a racing game that'll have many turns and whatnot but i wanted to get it done by the deadline so I couldn't do anything too crazy (especially without a game engine).
I fixed the collisions now :D
