Whatever I do, I cannot beat Bill! :c

Anyways, a cute little game, I like it!

Developer

Thanks for playing and sorry you couldn't beat bill. Also thanks for the complements, your time, and your feedback :D.

It’s a good idea. As well as you invested effort in the tutorial, I would invest some time on sounds or feedback for example when you pick anything, when you use/open the oven etc. Also I agree with others, you should use any other longer song, there are other games with very lo-fi nice-to-listen background music. Also, you could use other fonts than defaults. Little details that could add a lot!

Developer

Thanks for letting me know about the lack of sound/feedback and I should make my songs longer and loop better and to invest time in picking a better font. Thanks for your time and feedback :D.

I think having to find the right recipe is a fun mechanic, but I somehow never managed to get there. I always either forget what I put in or don't manage to remember the feedback from the critic because it disappears so quickly. I was also confused by the switching objectives mid-game, where I started out having to bake a cake and then had to switch to baking cookies and I wasn't sure if the critic's advice still applied or not.

Thanks for the feedback and sorry about not getting the correct recipe. Thanks for letting me know I should put more time between areas here you need to read text and for telling me about the lack of explanation about the switching between recipes mechanic. Thanks for your time and feedback. :D

It's kind of nice to have a "make the recipe" game that isn't on some sort of time limit, and it makes it feel more casual that way. I thought the concept was good, particularly with the critic telling you how to perfect the recipe. Music could've been better. Keep it up!

Developer(+1)

Thank for telling me about the casual feel of a non-time limit game and also about the music. Thank you for your time and your review. :)

Pretty nice game! The concept is interesting and makes for some nice gameplay.

The music is a bit too repetitive though. The game also tends to be solved fairly easily in that you can just find the correct recipe and coast on that the entire way.

Thank you for telling me about the repetitiveness of the music. Thanks for your time and feedback. :D

Fun, but when you find the perfect recipe, it get's kinda boring because you know that you are going to win, and I don't know is it a glitch but when have to bake a cake, after the critic, you will magicly need to bake a cookie and not a cake.

Developer

I agree with the perfect recipe thing and I also should have communicated the fact that the recipes were randomly chosen. Thanks for your feedback and time :D.
