Use of the limitation
The limitation was losing, and I took that as from a different perspective. You might not want to lose personally, but because there's a potential high score someone else might want you to lose so their score remains better.

I LOVE bullet-hell games like this. My only issues with the game are that my mouse kept clipping outside of the window resulting in me losing, and that the game did not quite fit the limitation of the jam. Overall a good game though!
This is proof that just setting sounds/music adds a lot to a game! I like the style but hey, isn’t the font too little?
Do you mean the font size in game? As in like the score and the enemy speech? Because I had it set to only one size but maybe for the future I should set it to auto-sizing or something similar.
The font size in the menu to start and the font size of the score at the top and the talking at the bottom. At least on my full screen seemed too little.
Yes, the music is very impressive. Also effects and stacking of effects work out well.
I reached >800 points and it took quite a while. I have a feeling that my 4K resolution might have some effect on the game. the blue triangles spawned a bit above the middle of the screen height.
Thanks for the insight on the blue triangles! I was having some trouble getting them to stick to the top of the screen and I'll definitely look into improving that.
Good music and atmosphere. Once you figure out what's going on, it's creepy. It's also pretty fun to play! I was confused for a while there, though... it would have been helpful to explain the controls (which are simple, but not, for me at least, intuitive).
The implementation of the limitation is a bit dubious, though. :) Also, it felt unfair when, during a long streak of surviving, I picked up the star and then ran into the creeper and I still lost. I assumed it made me invulnerable to him (in addition to the environmental hazards).
Lastly, it won't run in true full screen mode for me, at least. Look into making the window taller in itch.io. The trick is, the user needs to be able to click the blue WebGL full screen button while the browser is still visible. When the game isn't running in true full screen, it's easy for the cursor to go out of bounds and to accidentally lose.
Thanks for the feedback! I do agree that I could've/should've given the player a heads up on the controls. I also got the same feedback when I had my friends and brothers play with using the star. I definitely should either let the player know it's limitations better or make the star have invulnerability to the enemy.
Very cool! The narration is great and it gives the game a lot of personality. Sort of fits the theme? Nice job!
This game is really fun, I don't know how but it makes the"escape something with your mouse games" or what ever they are called actually fun, but at start it should explain what you need to do, and when you lose and it starts really easy it gets boring.
Thanks for the feedback! I tried to make it so that upon restarting after making it to a certain checkpoint the game only starts from that checkpoint but perhaps that is still too soon to start the game from. Also, I 100% agree with more player explanation.
This is interesting, music makes some kind of immersion, why white cube is an enemy? I couldn't read what he writes cuz it was too intense :D
Nice one, the fonts and music are giving thriller vibe.
Nice game mechanic and fun to play. I like the personality of the antagonist and the way the game builds in difficulty. The losing is good is perhaps a stretch but so was mine!
