This was the first I played from this jam, when you shared it on Discord. And it's one of the last that I'm rating, sorry about that!
I think you guys did a fantastic job on this. The art, while it could use a little more refinement, is exceptional for a game jam. Everything works really well.
The only real negative I would say is that the English is a bit hard to follow sometimes, along with a few spelling mistakes. I won't hold that against the rating though, but if you move towards releasing it like you said you might, I would probably hire someone to do the translations.
Holy moly, this is an amazing play! I had a lot of fun with this one and its concept.
awesome game! the graphics and sounds blew me away! the gameplay is unique and challenging, I have to think it through just to give an answer. This one has good replay value, overall, I enjoyed playing, congratulations! keep it up!
Oh my! I actually enjoyed this game so much~ I loved everything about it! The art, the story, the characters, even some items can be dragged through the screen!! I've found myself playing around with the skull haha! Amazing work, I'd definitely love it if you ever want to make this into a full game~
Nice Game. I like the psychological aspect of the game. And its really cool that there are multiple endings, which all leave on cliffhangers. Also about the dialogue skipping bug, it seems to work properly if you click on the dialogue shortly after it starts but if you wait too long before clicking to show the whole it skips the line entirely. Just something to consider if you are interested in patching the bug.
This game is amazing. The visuals are stunning and i have rarely ever seen such class art made in such a short period. The theme of the game is really interesting and i wish you continue this game after the jam ends.
I like the Art Style, and the way a lot of things can be dragged around in the background :)
But some things didn’t seem to work. The “fullscreen” option works for me, but I don’t see the text.
Nice immersive narrative game! I'm particularly drawn to the darker nature of this one - his fate is to be living with the vision of his daughter. I liked the animations and music, but the typing sounds were hit and miss with me. I really liked the one you used for John. Overall good work!
Very cool game! The audio and visual presentation is great, and the general amount of content is incredible! Well done.
I loved this game! Especially how Samuel just casually put a calendar up with his foot lmao
But I just wish there was an option to make the dialogue roll faster. Because sometimes, I would press continue and it would just skip dialogue. Other than that, pretty good game! Especially when it was made in 3 days! :)
Awesome game, loved the art and the patients stories.
Some of the dialogue was skipped when pressing to continue or see the text faster (mainly happened when the dialogue was transitioning from one character to another. I think).
I also managed to get some of the background objects out of bounds while I was playing with them.
Very immersive. Attractive, moody graphics, lovely little animation flourishes. All the patients with their different stories are very cool.
A couple of suggestions for improvement:
1. There is something wrong with the way the dialog scrolls. I ended up accidentally skipping some lines when I just meant to display the entire line. Note that this seems to work correctly in the introduction (when Sophia is talking), but it doesn't work right when patients are speaking.
2. For a very text-heavy and story-rich game presented in English, you should consider a team member who is a native English speaker. While the stories are original and interesting, there are a lot of unidiomatic turns of phrase.
It's an amazing game. Perfect graphic, creative sounds,thought-provoking stories. (and making things collide is kind of funny)
Maybe letting different people do different things while talking will make it even better.
And, when I click, texts just get skipped so I have to wait, therefore this game is a little bit time-consuming. Is that a bug or something unnoticed?
