That was a very enjoyable and interesting game. I found that once I packed the cat tightly I didn't really need to modify the pose, just the position.
Really interesting and original concept, but the controls are clunky and it is tedious move all parts in one direction part by part. If there was at least possibility to move all by one in selected direction and then modify the parts it would be miles better. Also spot on take on limitation.
Thanks! I had been working on something like that today, and I just uploaded a new version that allows you to move everything all at once. :)
Very cool and unique concept. I would like to see it animate between the poses so I can preview the movement as I make it (I think you mentioned you didn't have time below but I just wanted to mention it). This had really unique and creative mechanics. Great work!
My latest update now gives you a replay of your whole path at the end. Hope that helps!
For gods sake! Add an animation of the finished product of the cat looping through lasers the way I told him to. This would be so much cooler if you had that! Check out my review of your game at https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission
Having a recording/GIF export was actually one of the last things on my to-do list that i ran out of time for :((( thanks for playing, and thanks for the review, I'm checking that out now!
don't even worry about the GIF part just have a new scene where you cycle through each pose.
You might enjoy the newest version then. :) the replay is a little small since it was originally intended for GIFs (I still want to get that working but the solution I had was slow and didn't crop right on web), but it should do the trick!
Game looks really cool
I love the visuals, and the gameplay is fun, but it takes a while to complete a level since you can only move one move one step at a turn from what I understand. Amazing submission tho!
thanks for playing! my latest update should address some of this. now the torso can move either to overlap with the last turn's torso or the head. it was only the torso before. this, along with being able to move the whole body at once, should help with that!
I tried the update, and the game is so much more fun to play now! I really like the little gif you added at the end!
a valid critique! do you have any thoughts as what could work better as far as control mechanics? that is one of the major things i would like to polish up post-jam.
cool music, and game. moving pieces of a cat is pretty awesome, a bit like lego blocks. the head went outside the map with my gameplay but it was funny to play.
looks really good, we can see you put lots of effort in it !
As others said it is a bit confusing at first but I managed to get to the package in the end. Very creative idea. I also like the art a lot.
It looks nice but I don’t get it… what am I supposed to do? how am I supposed to do it, it’s confusing…
Love this. Was confused at first but if the controls for moving the parts were easier to manage I could play it all day. Was thinking it would be nice if he moved as a whole unit by default and the parts could be rotated or detached only if needed.
Thanks, I'm glad you like it! I was considering some type of lock like that but i ultimately wasn't sure the best way to represent it in the UI and I ran out of time working on other parts of it. But I agree it would make moving things around a lot easier!
You can now move the whole body at once! Hope that's a more fun experience.
Same as what Ayrat24 said

Cool concept, but it's really hard and confusing putting all the body parts back together. The art is purrfect :3
