This project kinda hits home for be a bit as I have Lina: Suika Hunt which is quite similar to this!

Overall I like the idea, since I made something like this myself, I think it just missing a few things to be really juicy.

First of course is some sound effects for getting hort, shooting down something. After that maybe some particles to actually shoot something and to create some explosion-y effect for the enemies.

One thing that was not clear on first run either is the arrows on top of the enemy heads, but once you realize, it is visible. I might have made them a bit bigger for better visiblity, but to me they were okay!

Cool idea, give it some polish and bam, full game out of a jam project!

Nice art. I think there should be some sort of penalty or other requirements to kill the enemies, because I ended up just spamming the keys, not even looking at the enemies. Also the arrows aren't very visible, I actually killed a few before I realized I had to press the arrows (I tried moving xD). Very cute game.

I like the simplicity and cleanliness of the art. The little aliens floating with balloons are super funny and cute. I read the controls on the description and was happy that they were so simple, but when I started playing it took me a while to see the arrows over the head of the little aliens. I would try to make them more evidenced, having a light box between the arrows and the background so we can see them more easily, and maybe making them bigger. Since I couldn’t see those arrows, my understanding ended up being that I had to smash Left, Up, Right and Down arrow in sequence. Then, when I did see the arrows, I quickly figured out that my first approach was much faster and viable to kill all the enemies, as it took me less time to think about it. And thus I made 177 points until I was fine with playing. If you can have a bigger sequence of arrows for enemies on a “level 2”, maybe this will force me to look at them because smashing the keys will not work anymore. Maybe? Also I think a scoredboard and some variation in the music would also help the game become greater in a future polish. Overall it’s quite cute.

Cute and chill game :) Could use some improvements. Maybe if you'd put the arrows on the balloons they would be much more visible. Also, you can cheese the game by pressing all the arrows at the same time, some sort of progress reset mechanic would be perfect :)

I found your game sort of addictive , it's not demanding enough that it would be stressful but it's also one that has you paying attention to get the inputs right. I was expecting some sort of speed bost or punishment for not getting an input right, but other than that I had a good time.

This is a nice little game with a very cute art style. It is just missing a little bit of “juice”—like a small explosion when you correctly input the arrows. Additionally, there should be some punishment for pressing the wrong inputs; otherwise, the player can just defeat the enemies by button mashing.
