Hey everyone :) I have just published my devlog for my entry to the jam (https://tobyrcod.itch.io/duality) and I wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone that has played it. If anyone would be kind enough to leave a comment on the video and tell me what you think it would mean the world, and if you link your game I'll leave some feedback too. Best of luck to you all and thanks for an amazing week :)

All the best and stay safe, BLANK :)

Hey I have downloaded it and am trying to play it but I cant seem to go past the menu, It always sends me to the credits scene? Hopefully I am just doing something wrong because it looks really fun :)

That has worked thank you :) The music works really well, and I love the idea, feels like among us and Cluedo had a baby! Best of luck to you :)

https://itch.io/jam/mix-and-game-jam-2020/rate/822583 Here it is! your game was awesome, so much nostalgia from playing Duet!

Submitted

All rated and I left some feedback on the page :) So glad you liked mine thanks for checking it out :D Best of luck!

Loved the devlog. It's so interesting to see the thought process of devs during a game jam.

Submitted(+1)

So glad you liked it :) This whole experience of making a game and meeting new people has been so rewarding! All the best of luck to you in future :)

Very cool devlog! Here's my game.

IMPORTANT: I messed up game's resolution, to fix it SET PAGE SIZE TO 80%

Sorry for the difficulties.

https://tyrannosaurus-games.itch.io/johnny-split  Basically Johnny is split to two parts - one trapped in a top-down perspective and the other is stuck in a classic platformer. Try to connect them :)

This idea immediately looks amazing, cant wait to try it! Thank you for your time, glad you like it :)

Just finished playing, I LOVE this game, I didnt find it too difficult despite what some other said, I think the difficulty is just right, especially with the fast respawn :) Great art and really well executed, well done!

Thanks! Your feedback really motivates me to work on a full release of Johnny. I'll probably make a devlog about it. You can also follow me on Itch so you won't miss it!

Thanks again and good luck on BLANK!

Here is mine: https://itch.io/jam/mix-and-game-jam-2020/rate/822245

Playing your right now :D

This is such a unique idea (and super brave to mix 3 genres instead of just two, and making it work so well) If you are going to continue this maybe simplify the art a bit as it was slightly confusing for me. Best of luck for the results :)

I had actually already seen this one! I absolutely love it, I am blown away that you achieved that in 48 hours, I am not really a 3D guy, but this just feels so satisfying to play, amazing job :) You deserve to do really well!

Submitted(+1)

Hello, this is a puzzle shooter with a little bit of accidental bullet hell. Level 1 is a bit broken but everything else works. Enjoy!

Submitted

I left a comment on the game page, overall I really like the idea and would love to see it go further, good job :)

About the enemy aiming issue, there's a second player on that map. As for the particles and screenshake, I didn't have enough time to add them but if I update the game in the future I will.

A murder mystery platformer! Some inspiration from Celeste for the platforming

Submitted(+1)

Rated! The controls are a bit tough but once I adjusted I found it really fun :) Good job!

I would love to get your feedbacks on our game! I'm curious to see if you can solve the mystery being this game :) https://itch.io/jam/mix-and-game-jam-2020/rate/821760

I left a rating over on your page but I truly do love it! Alas the mystery remains unsolved but I really want to find out, this feels like a full game release already! Amazing job :)

Here's my game hope you like it (feedback would be nice if you have time to): https://itch.io/jam/mix-and-game-jam-2020/rate/82222 and btw your devlog was awesome keep up the good work.

Hey :) I really like it! I must admit I was a bit off put at first,  I started with the all white level and I couldn't really tell what was going on, so maybe work on that one, that being said, when I tried the green one it was so much better! Love the music, and the animations/art are really cute :D If you are going to keep working on it maybe think of someway to vary it up a bit, as it can get quite repetitive.

I really enjoy it overall, good job!

Submitted(+1)

Thanks for the reply! :D And yeah, all of that is true. I wish I had time to fix all of those problems but here we are! Thanks again.

https://itch.io/jam/mix-and-game-jam-2020/rate/822569 enjoy my buggy game :3

Submitted(+1)

I did enjoy it thank you for sharing :D Reminded me of my time playing hill climb racing, but I think this has potential to be better as I am a sucker for platformers and jumping! Best of luck in the jam :)

Just watched the devlog, looks like fun! I’m about to play and rate yours; if you want to take a look at mine, here it is: https://itch.io/jam/mix-and-game-jam-2020/rate/822444. It’s just a visual novel with crappy platforming but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I will take a look soon and Ill lave more in depth feedback on the page, but it sounds really interesting :)
