As you said, really really difficult. The movement feels kinda clunky, if you go it looks like you fast forward to the next point. Pretty fun to get to the top!
You weren't kidding when you said it was hard. The movement mechanic is weird to get used to, but i really like the way the wurm behaved, it looks pretty neat. Great concept congrats!
Well done, such a limited amount of time! Good concept and level design.
One thing that is kind of weird about the controls is if you move backwards from your last direction you kind of just explode backwards. Making some minor adjusting not so minor.
Good use of the theme!
Yep, it has to do with the spring simulation and my collision prototype. Pretty hilarious when it happens though! If only I had Bennet Foddy to narrate...
Really awesome concept and implementation! A small suggestion - maybe add some easing to the camera movement or stop the camera if the head only makes small jerky movements since that can get a little disoriating.
Reminds me of "Getting Over It" in a very good way.
Thats a great suggestion, I’ll make sure to consider that in future games. Getting Over It was definitely at the back of my mind during production. Thanks for playing!
That is a amazing take on the original game, the art is great, and overall good job.
Unique idea. Also, I really like to pico-8 games in jams. Good job!
It took 8min 27sec to beat this, nice game mechanic :)
Hey Great Job! Very Impressed.
Really enjoyed the worm mechanics. Could use a little faster power recharge.
Super unique take on the theme - genius! With a little bit of work on the collisions and friction, this could probably be a commercial game mechanic! Nice work :)
I had the engine working great with a flat plane but that all went out the window once I added the level structure. I had a repulsive force making the snake slide around easier, but it maxed Pico's CPU and lagged everything down. Thanks for the comment, really appreciate the support.
Cool game! Enjoyed my time with it, even though I didn’t beat it...
9 min and 55 seconds to finish but i did it hahaha
poor worm, I saw how hard it is for a worm to move
Very nice choice, game is fun!
