Firsts levels were really easy but the game quickly got to pace by becoming harder.
I don't think i've seen this type of game with these controls.
That's pretty unique of the developer to have though of this idea.
overall great work!
Interesting idea! The gameplay needs more polish and some levels are too easy in my opinion. Still a good concept to work on :)
This is a very unique game. Maybe some darker music and some little screaming people, or something like that, would have fit the theme.
But very fun!
Unique mechanic and the worm moves smooth! I think the level design could be improved, but it's a good proof of concept. Keep it up!
I enjoyed this game a lot! the idea is very unique and I really like how the worm looks when you move around. The music is a bit too chill I think but other than that very well done!
The mechanics are really nice and the worm is satisfying to move around, but it really needed sound effects to be complete, it's a great missed opportunity. Good job!
Very nice game! I love how you can pause and move your tail just a bit to avoid a bullet.
Good polish but I kinda got bored with reoccurring mechanics. Has alot of potential to be something great though :)
Cool game! Really impressed with the level of polish! Seconding what others said about the difficulty though. But I love experimental jam games like this!
This is hard! But really fun
Maybe tone down the difficulty and make the items required to unlock future levels
Cool game, a bit too hard for me but I really liked the time pause mechanic, The graphics were really well done and I liked the extra collectibles. Unfortunately I can't give you more feedback since I didn't get very far, but one of my little bulbs got caught on opposite sides of a bridge which killed me which felt a little jank, but other than that nothing stuck out about the game as needing to be fixed.
Also could I ask how you got that debug panel thing to not show up when launching your game? I can't find any tutorials on how to do that
When you export a project there is a check mark in the lower left corner, btw, you can skip a level in the main menu by pressing esc.
Awesome, I'm glad you added that feature! I went back and beat every level I could, the only ones I had to skip were 4 and 11.
Now having played the game more I can give you some better feedback. I don't know if this would go against the core of the game but it might be good to experiment with having the worm control like in the game snake, where it's not a physics object but it just follows the path of the mouse. Also I beat most levels by rushing to the end before the bullets spawned lmao, don't know if that's an intended strat. Also I now LOVE that pause mechanic, I felt so cool when I would make my way through a storm of bullets by freezing time. It is super intuitive too
PS. thanks for the tip
Thanks! I have a few ideas about the problem with level rush, but maybe after the jam.
