Good game, felt fun to play and the difficulty was hard but fair. Great entry
Nice job! The movement of the character feels solid and it felt nice slashing those smiley faces. I'm a big fan of bullet hells and having a dodge feels a bit OP, but at the same time you managed to make it feel good because some bullets can only be avoided with a well timed dodge. Really good entry ^^
I love the movement speed in this, made me feel powerful. I wish that the attack didn't stop movement though, I think it really killed the feeling of momentum, especially with how awesome the dodge roll is. Otherwise you did a great job with the procedural dungeons and the boss design. Overall a really solid jam entry.
Pretty fun game. It is a little difficult but I managed to beat it! The attack feels a little clunky but once you undestand how it works its fine. Great job!
Love the look but it's soooo hard. I'm really bad at games like this..
Visually it's pleasing but it's missing some depth or feedback or something.. I was never sure if something will hit me or if I will hit something and I couldn't get the hang of the dodge mechanic.
Still, very solid! Like and UnderMine 1-Bit edition :D
I thought the difficulty level of the game was perfect - not rage-inducing but still challenging enough to be exciting, like when dodging the flame patterns from the trap room and the boss. The procedural generation is also a nice touch.
Took me like 6 tries but I finally beat it. Great job on the boss, teaching the player the attacks seperately and ending in a combination of both. A bit frustrating how the floating heads can still damage you or spawn a fireball after they've died. The game is also quite punishing, in all the tries I only found a single piece of meat and at that point my health was still full. Feels good to control but I never really found a use for the dodgeroll. Overall good game.
The enemies shouldn't attack or damage you after dying so that seems to be a bug where they've begun their attack animation and it doesn't get cancelled so thanks for pointing it out. I'll look into fixing that after the jam ratings close. The health drops are totally random so it can be a bit feast or famine, sometimes I'll get 3 drops in one room and others none all run.
