Very, very impressive for your first game in a new engine! Love the writing. Love the strong outlines on the sprites ... gives it a unique, bold look. :D
Cute game with a cute ending! Great job with the sprites as well, I particularly liked the work put into all the trees! NES-like sounds and feel and a good finale boss battle, I had a blast. Looking forward to the next adventure! Shoutouts to Brackeys 😁
Thank you very much! :D
Oh absolutely! Hes the reason I started Godot again and keep at it c:
super sweet little adventure. i like the role reversal there. i found the collisions a little touchy at times, some parts could be a little more generous whiles others could be a bit less. a little bit of coyote time could help the platforming bits too. very well done for a first game, congratulations on the submission!
Thank you!
Yes thats true :D I will keep that in mind if I do another platformer :)
First off, I appreciate the effort put into the game, especially with some of the tricky platforming sections! The concept has potential and could be quite fun with some refinements.
The physics felt really sensitive to me, making it difficult to land accurate jumps. This made the 1x1 platforms particularly challenging and, at times, frustrating. It would be great if the controls could be a bit more forgiving to help players feel more in control. Also, playing in full screen would definitely improve the experience, as the current window felt very small and hard to focus on. The audio was also extremely low.
I did encounter a glitch where the game ended without respawning me, which unfortunately ended my run:
Thanks for your comment and for playing my game. I appreciate the Video and your helpful critique!
Yeah, I sadly knew about the Bug, thats why in the description I have the "Press R to reload" I didnt knew what activated the bug nor how to fix it :(
Appreciate your comment and will keep that for my next platformer in mind!
Nice little platformer! I liked your attention to detail with lining all the graphics up pixel perfect with each other, and it was minor but i really appreciated the fact that slanted platforms were new sprites and not just rotated versions of the regular platforms. Well done!
thank you for your nice comment, appreciate it!:)
I finished your game, I liked how it was setting up the level design, if it was your first time composing music congratulations it was very good.
Yes, it was my very first time, thank you so much! c:
"LOVE YOU!"
I thought the game felt specially good, you got the speeds and jump right. The difficulty is appropriate and the visuals and music are cool.
I agree having to make the music and sound during the jam made it extra fun and interesting.
Thank you! Appreciate your comment
Yes. At first I thought "Oh wait, what, I need to do music too ?" But then it was a fun experience!
