I really liked that the rooms are randomly generated, giving a great sense of exploration when investigating. It's the aspect I admire most about the game because it adds a very good touch of replayability. However, it's true that some feedback should be added when fighting enemies and the boss. One small error I noticed, which is easy to fix, is that the canvas doesn't adjust when playing in full screen. It may affect gameplay very little, but since I started playing that way, I thought there were no life or level indicators until I exited full screen. But overall, the game is entertaining.

I stopped playing on floor 9. I like the music and the transitions between screens. The game plays as it would have if released on NES back then and it's fun for a while. I relate with the other comments suggesting some extra visuals on hit would go a long in way in making it feel a bit less floaty. I think it also could either stop after some floors or get harder as it goes.

Well the NES feeling is absolutely there, the game could use some visual feedback when you hit enemies, at first I just thought I wouldn't damage them and just ran away

I wish the gameplay was a bit more varied but this feels very much like an NES game! The music is also waaay too quiet

I liked this game concept. Just the Zelda dungeons. I think this game would benefit from having the enemies flash and get pushed back a little when you hit them. I'm impressed you made a randomly generated dungeon (at least i think that's what it is) for the jam. Good job
