What remains of Hiyori?'s itch.io page

Does your game contain AI-generated content?
My game uses the "Vosk Language Model" to recognize the player's speech. (VOSK Offline Speech Recognition)

How does your game fit/incorporate the theme of the game jam?
The player takes Modules (remnants) from Hiyori (past version of Neuro-sama) and gives them to Neuro.

This is pretty neat! It was really hard to get past the first screen though 'cause it kept thinking I said "Nero". Also, that ending felt sad and scary. Having to remove Hiyori. Then the screaming and begging that then went and closed the window, uh... it was simultaneously freaky and funny. This was really creative! Even if very short.

I never got a "Nero" recognition while testing (if I did, I would have forced the game to accept that too). I suppose the many different things it can recognize based on your accent is just one additional barrier you have to overcome for an actual good voice recognition game.
The narrative independently developed out of the basic gameplay.

Very bold of you to make a game with voice recognition mechanics, but I think people without microphones won't be able to enjoy it.

I don't seem to be the only developer with bold game content :)
But this lack of accessibility is probably why you see it so rarely in gaming. It's not that difficult to set up a (scuffed) voice recognition. Even simple games using your microphone seem to be positively received though (based on my memory). This might also just be bias.

Really nice game, had a lot of fun with it. And the real ad is an awesome idea. Good job !

Interesting concept. It's a little hard to get the speech to work, would've been nice to get a mic selector, but it's good concept.

The poor little AI model is only 67.6 MB - so it doesn't work well. In retrospect, there were multiple ways I could have mitigated the problem, but I also had to make a game at the same time. Thanks for calling it interesting!

Not really a game more a bait for vedal to say I love you Neuro

Just to be sure: You got past the first screen and didn't consider it enough of a game, right?
Because I just realized it's possible to see the first screen as a troll that does nothing.
Thank you anyway for making me think of that, I added a new game screenshot.
