Game's take on the theme
Ah, I put the protagonist to fight on a road testing the beat'em up system in 2d that I made.

Game's take on the special object
I used the glasses with a bluish vision to simulate the super speed he gains.

Did you use any third-party plugins other than Plus Music?
no, I'm not familiar with this type of plugin

Did you use Plus Music?
I ended up not using it, because it wasn't in my interest either.

One of the best games I found on the submissions page, congrats to you! I have nothing to say, except the hat staying when you're dead, but this is not a real problem. I love you game because I was seeking for a retro arcade game, and I found it! :)

I felt devil may cry energy in this

The loading screens and warning messages, and raging, and the type of fighting and fluidity of the controls

Loved it! I think I found my favorite entry of the Jam!

And I noticed your name is in Portuguese, or at least it seems so, if yes, Bom trabalho caralho!

Very polished game! It has a classic arcade feel to it and everything :))

An excellent entry. Everything is amazingly polished from the art, gameplay, and even the sfx and music. Combos are satisfying, the screenshake and various post processing effects add a lot of impact and I love that there's a way to regain lost health. There's not much I don't like about it, but if I had to think of one, I would say this game would be much more fun if it had levels and some sort of progression and end goal. Other than that, this is one of my favorite entries so far in this game jam. Good job and congrats on submitting!

The animations... so smooth... *drools*!

(I love the  fighting system, very complete and satisfying - though as another commenter mentioned, really wish it was a linear beat-'em-up with more locations and enemies; but overall incredible work for a jam game!)

let's gooo  a very good  beats' em all  i like that and the animations are so smooth, i'ts fire

Oh boy, that was a real hoot!

The movement and fighting system was smoother than a freshly shaven leg. And can we talk about those animations? They were so good, I'm pretty sure I saw my cat nodding in approval.

But if I had to be nitpicky, I'd say the start-up menu was a bit too flashy for my liking. I mean, I want to save my eyesight for the game, not have it blinded by a moving disco inferno!

All jokes aside, you guys did an amazing job. Keep up the great work!

This game is very fun to play, feels like an actual old school beat em up! Very good job!

I'm surprised at how many attacks the character can do!! THIS IS SO GOOD!

Loved this game, very polished and cool! I really enjoyed playing.

Hey, this is really good! Right from the start (and I mean your logo) it shows it's gonna be a polished game. And it is! Even before I started playing I was surprised by the number of attacks you can do! And they all feel really cool to do! Like, when you do the multiple-fast-punches attack it really feels cool. I mean, the sfx and the subtle touches like the screen shake really do the work here!

The presentation was great too. The music was pumping, the sound effects were meaty, the pixel art pretty nice, and the screen effects really added to the graphics. I mean, you obviously know what you're doing here!

The character designs, and attack patterns worked for me! Btw- I don't know who Job_boy is, but he just radiates character and power! Really cool!

One thing I would change. I'd really like to see this as a normal, linear beat-em-up, with more locations, bosses, hazards, and stuff like that. I mean, mechanically, and style-wise you really have something here!

Keep up the good work! Seriously!

Thank you very much! I'm happy with your comment, I'm glad you noticed these details, I put a lot of effort into making something fun! In the future I think about making games with similar gameplay, because I really like this style of game! Anyway, thank you so much for playing my game! (if I said something strange it's because I use a translator, because I'm Brazilian really)
