The gameplay is really great. One of the best entries in this jam. 5/5
Wow, impressive! I honestly think this game is scary! Controls work surprisingly well and the game looks really good. I got to the super difficult boss in the large room, couldn't manage to kill it :/
I think you should consider having the middle pixel of the crosshair always render as the brightest color so that the crosshair is visible even if you aim at something dark.
Well done!
Sadly I cant enjoy this fully on TKL keyboard but I am still amazed by how you managed to pull off 3D in such constrained format. I also dig that gun movement a lot. Great job :)
Ohhh I liked this. Everything felt so polished - the artwork is so clean, the movement smooth and it's full 3d within the jam limits! Nice choice of theme too ;) Great submission!
Amazing entry! I love the graphics/animations (especially of the aliens dying, reminding me of the imps in the original doom). Awesome controls and super impressive technically! I wish there were a little bit more power-ups and a different key to open the door, but otherwise this was quite flawless. Awesome job!
Damn, it surprised me. Very good!
Niceee
Wow, amazing game, and the controls worked flawlessly. Good job!
Thank you!
Very impressive and very much like Wolfenstein3D! My only issue is that the crosshair gets obscured by the very dark walls, but other than that, great! I feel like IJKL would have been a better alternative to the numpad, though.
Thank you! Noted. I will update the controls to IJKL after the voting is over! This is my first game jam so I'm learning about this process and everything, and avoiding the numpad is a big thing I learned this time. Thanks for the advice!
Loved it, very smooth and when the enemies get close, it seriously feels really intense. Getting that atmosphere into a game is tough, but you did a great job!
