thanks for the interest. I haven’t yet posted any of the music up separate from the game. It is all music I have made myself.

for clarity on the inventory. When the health item is selected an extra text box appears in the inventory screen that says to press space to use. 

For the gun, there are two inventories, Q for items and E for weapons. You missed it when you read the controls page. 

It’s modeled after the metal gear solid inventory system.

thanks a ton for the feedback. I’m actually working on a feature length survival horror game with a completely unrelated story. I stumbled on the game jam and decided to give it a try. I’m using a bunch of assets I created at the beginning of the year before I knew the direction of my main game. I was able to repurpose them for this jam and take them out of the graveyard haha. So without asset creation the only thing I had to focus on was creating a story and programming in the game specific things like cutscenes and puzzles, since I have existing character controllers, camera system etc.

The music is also all of the music I won’t be using for my main game haha.  

haha you were right. Level 3 is a killer. Even with the solution I found it too hard to beat. I think there needs to be more opportunities to grow, or something along those lines. It feels a little too hard when you get into a position where you know there is nothing else you can do because you shrunk too much. Best I can think of off the top of my head would be more water sources or more check points. 

That being said, I liked it. Music was good, graphics were nice, and movement felt pretty good. Since this is a short jam, I don't expect everything to be perfect. Good job.

Great game. I got 16 deaths to beat the game. No complaints here. 5/5 from me. Graphics were nice. gameplay mechanics were fun. Only criticism I could think of is lack of sound. 

Cool concept. Works well with the scale theme. I could see this being a pretty addictive phone game. Would work well with a touch screen. Good job!

Fun little game. The first few screens that show you what everything does was a great idea. Most people just skip the instructions haha. (myself included). I was able to beat the game, but I had the most trouble with the gun turrets. All of the other enemies were not too big of a challenge, but those gun turrets were relentless. Overall, good base for a fun game. 

Graphics and sound fx were good. Gameplay was fun as well. I found, I didn't really use the 3 different drones though. I mainly just got them out of the way and worked with one. I found a few bugs, but that is usually to be expected from a jam game. Overall I liked it. 5/5 from me. 

Vey nice game. My kids really enjoyed it. They kept telling me to get the scales. The eels that eat you in one bite were a little tough though. I was doing good and moved into a room right into one haha. After that I enabled cheats and had a gazillion dollars and opened everything. Good job. 5/5

no worries. The whole point of the jam is to improve as developers by getting feedback from players. 

I like the art style. Fun little game. Took me a second to realize I had to get the cheese to the ant hill. I also accidentally fell out of bounds from a dash with the cheese to the ant hill. One constructive criticism I have. When the warning for the foot comes out. Sometimes it can be a little in front of the player and I end up dashing right into the foot. The solution I would propose is this. When the player enters the area that triggers a foot warning. It should center the warning on the players current position. Then the player just needs to dash out of the way.

Hey thanks a lot for trying out the game and posting a video. Was fun to watch. I guess I should have made the item menu more obvious in some way. 

This was a very unique game. Music was good, concept was good. I did find a hilarious bug though. I was able to climb through the floor and fall out of the map haha. Also, my graphics card was screaming the whole time. 5/5

Good work. The different variations of Tetris were fun to play and interesting. I did find a bug where I was able to push a block down through the bottom row. If I did this at the bottom of the screen the game crashed. I assume because of an out of bounds exception. Nice job though, good game.

thanks! I think I’m not a good enough artist to do pre rendered environments. I took the silent hill approach with fully rendered 3d environments and dynamic camera to play to my coding strengths instead. 

thanks, I was really trying to get that RE feel. Those are some of my favorite games. 

I considered exporting to web, but I was just too burned out by submission time to fiddle with it. 

P.S. I am actually making a feature length survival horror game. The assets used in this short jam game are all assets I had created during my discovery phase and ended up not using. I thought the jam would be a perfect place to give them some use. (The zombie, and the dolls on the shelf are the only assets that will appear in my full game)

Great little game. I got really surprised when the employees came to my office to riot.

The idea here is pretty clever and the art is pleasing to look at. A little on the tough side, but enjoyable to play. 

Took me like 10 tries to realize I wasn't trying to move the little space ship, but the stuff that's coming at you instead. haha once I figured that out it became a lot more enjoyable. Good job on the game!

Just played this for a little while. Took me a few tries to figure out what everything was, but once I got the hang of it, it was very enjoyable. Great job on this. The balance was good. I just wish I realized what the criteria for winning and losing was sooner haha. 

Great game. Graphics, music and gameplay all on point. Reminded me a lot of a mobile game called dont look back. 

The pitfalls were really hard to cross. I died a million times trying to get to the market. 

Was very engaging to play. I was only sad that I only had one try at the puzzles with the move limit. I didn't figure out what was going on until I had already messed them up. Overall, I liked it. Kept me searching for the next puzzle. No idea how you get to that island in the distance though.

thanks! Yeah sorry, given the short timeframe I didnt focus on making it run well. You need a beefier machine to get the full frame rate. I’ll probably go back and fix this eventually.
