I need to take my ship into the shop, the lateral thrusters are bogged down!
Fun gameplay and beautiful graphics. And you don't need anything else!
Thanks! :D
This is brilliant, amazing graphics well done
Dynamic lighting?? I'm in :) Fun game. If you are thinking of developing further, two possible ideas: I think more parallax in the stars would give a nice feel of speed; and also I would really like the ship to more around the screen a bit (ie, within a scroll rectangle, rather than having the ship fixed in the centre). Well done :)
Thanks! I didn't manage to tweak the camera, but it's supposed to follow the player smoothly. 😅
That is cool! A spiced up asteroid with twisting gravity. Nice
The light warping was pretty impressive. I struggled with the physics of the control a bit but found that spraying enough bullets was a good strategy with all the gravity.
Great visuals for a 1 week project. This was a very impressive entry on a technical and graphical level.
I made most of the space textures during the jam, but the ship and the planet are my older Blender projects I decided to put in use. :D On technical and level, well it's mostly Godot's physics, that's doing the heavy lifting. :P
Impressive effects, fun asteroids game with a twist :)
The yaw thrusters could do with an upgrade I think. Or I may just suck at yawing lol
The thrusters were even less powerful in the initial stages of the game. I just tried to find good balance between of controlability and avoiding asteroids. :D
The ship feels like it’s fighting against me, it's so difficult to control that I couldn't progress very far. I also didn’t notice how the theme was implemented. The idea is here, but it needs more polish.
Thanks for review. Yeah, definitely more polishing is required. I tried the game so often, that maybe I got used to the controls, but after few tries you should get hang of them though. In the early versions the ship was even more stiff and harder to control. 😅
Oh yeah the theme is implemented that you're running out of energy, no matter what you do. But there was also plan that you have to get out of the attractor field too, but didn't have time to implement it. I had a lot of ideas that could've contributed the main theme.
