Adored this! Of the stories I've read, this is the first to have a unique spin on the theme of consequence. Well done!

High praise coming from the creator of the top hat ogre squad. Thanks! :D

I absolutely love how you crammed a complicated scheme and so much devilish personality into such a short story! Stories like this really show off how fun and flexible the OPR universe can be in the right hands

Thanks so much! I had a lot of fun crafting this.

I felt this had a solid adherence to the theme and was super original but the flow fell short when reading it. Great story overall!

This was a fun one. You really get to see Smurk's laid back manipulations in the writing.

The day of reckoning is coming! Let's hope they're ready.

My favorite part of this story is the character voice - it's unique, memorable, and it tells me a lot about Smurk as a person. I think there are points, however, where the (excellent) voice you've chosen starts to get in the way of the events you're trying to describe and makes them a little less clear than they should be. Only a few, though, and they definitely don't get in the way of my enjoyment of the story!

Thanks so much! I had a lot of fun writing this, and I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed the ride! I am a bit of a sucker for character voice (especially as a Game Master for TTRPGs). 😄
