"God wills it" is an underrated plot device that I need to see more of in this universe!!! What a fun and exciting little adventure with a unexpected twist!

I loved the characters and the events that unfolded, and your writing was great!

I really enjoyed the flow and tone of this story especially in the beginning. the characters seem interesting and I enjoy how you used existing lore to characterize them saving words rather than spelling out everything about them.

I love the ratman! Wish we could get more stories about them.  Too bad about Gabriella tho. :/

I like the Ratmen too! Hopefully we see the OPR line soon and that will excite more people to write stories of them!

I really liked the set-up of the God-Queen's vision and the unexpected payoff.

Thank you! I am glad it payed off. It has been many years since I wrote anything so this was quite the experience.

This one is super sad, I loved it.

Thanks :) It's hard to make a happy story with the theme of "consequences" but I suppose it works well for the Grimdark namesake.

I like this tale as it had a unit of women who weren't all okay with the mission and their ratman company, both the compassion and the indifference helped this feel more real.

Developer

I really appreciate that. I actually found it quite hard to write a group of characters in only 1000 words, so I am glad that the time I spent stressing about it paid off.
