Description
"It's been five years since The Undoing. I used to assume that I am the only human left in this ruined home, but I always kept on the lookout for possible signs of human civilization. But the only things out there in the barren wasteland are monstrous creatures, as if they came from the deepest part of hell. I thought there was no hope left until... today. Today, we will leave this ruined home."
Genre: Ambient
Game Type: Horror
DAW used: FL Studio Mobile
1. An Unexpected Message:
I have received an anonymous message in my radio. They said that they have finished the creation of a rocket ship capable of bringing us out of this dying planet. They have told me their whereabouts, but I cannot ensure my safety as I journey along the infinite wasteland. But still, I have to take the risk. This is the only opportunity I have to continue surviving.
2. Long Walk Ahead:
I have stepped out from my shelter to the endless barren wasteland. The sense of dread and mystery crawls over my skin, as I gaze upon the view of what once was the sanctuary of humanity. Though I am not alone, I can hear the screams of the Forsaken Ones. I must keep moving.
3. They're Near:
I can hear them. I can hear their movements, I know they're watching me. I can see their eyes emerging from the darkness, I can notice their shadows lurking around the land. God forbid me a long and agonizing death.
4. Exhausted, But Must Continue:
I am virtually about to collapse, but I can't stop now. Those creatures will devour every part of my body, once I stop even for a split second. I can't turn around and go back now. I'm close.
5. Death Trap:

Message from the artist:
Thank you for listening!!
Theme:
How does it fit the theme?
It fits the theme, as it is about running away from what once was the sanctuary and shelter of humanity, to the space and beyond.

Woah! Truly very creepy! I imagine this as an FPS zombie game with not only zombies but Resident Evil like monsters, but the player is powerless and only has to RUN.
That would be a really terrifying game idea. Thank you for your input!
Cool texture, we can imagine the story really well, awesome build up, you got me.
Thank you ^^
Some impressive horror ambience! The heartbeat in They're Near was so unnerving, definitely would fit right into a horror game. And then the ending got me. Scary stuff all around!
I've been getting a lot of positive remarks about "They're Near", so I might consider making it available for game development use (CC-BY-NC). Thank you for your feedback!
Wow... This ambiance is amazing.
Thank you!
I'm a sucker for ambient themes when done well (with really no melodies) and I think it's one of them. I also don't think I need your description at all, the music tells the story for itself.
Thank you for the feedback!!!
I won't be able to handle this genre of games, but at least I tried to listen. It's very atmospheric, creepy, heart-racing (literally), scary. Good job!
I understand! It's not a genre for everyone. Though I'm thankful you still gave it a listen! Thank you so much.
Warning - wear a jumper when you listen to these tracks because you will get some serious chills.
Nice atmospheric sounds, with particular mention to the heart beat that quickens (that seriously unnerved me) and the panicked breathing at the end. Yikes. Well done.
I am glad that I caught the atmosphere I wanted to express throughout the album. Thank you so much for your opinions!
Very ambient and creepy. It's impressive you were able to do this all on FL Mobile.
Thank you so much! I had to improvise with whatever is available.
You did a great job of creating a creepy, dark atmosphere! It for sure would add to the tension of a horror game. The heartbeat in "They're Near" was well used, as it got faster I felt my own increasing. Well done!
Thank you so much for your compliment!
Whoa that was creepy! I darkened the room to listen to this and don't regret it. That ominous wind. Then that atomic reactor hum next to happily tweeting birds. Seems so WRONG. The breathing in the last track takes the cake and the ending is a real jump scare. I think I soiled myself.
Thank you for your insight. I am glad you set an atmosphere in your room to listen!
