You have such good use of sound effects! Do you have a background in sound design or sound editing? I love the progression from theme to theme and how it all fits into a cohesive story. Great work and thank you for sharing!

Developer

Thanks! I don't have a background in the sound design professionally speaking (sadly) but I always attached great importance to it, so I worked on it a lot

I like how you sort of give context at the beginning with the footstep intro. Second part is very mellow and relaxing, until it is horror, which you nailed with the thumping, heavy footsteps and the troubled breathing. I really enjoyed this experience, thank you!

Thank you for your comment ! I'm happy if you enjoyed it!

Neat ambient track. Great blend of music and sound effects. I think the cuckoo track was the standout for me. I really enjoyed that delicate orchestration with all the ambient sounds. Thanks for making and sharing.

if I'm honest, it's the track that I worked the most! Thanks a lot

really beautiful soundscape!! i had it on in the background for a bit, and it's genuinely a very comforting thing to listen to (up until the end with the heartbeats, that is a little scary lol). the ambience of the clack ticking, and doors creaking open, and the chime of a grandfather clock really SHOW you where you are, not just soundtrack it.

brilliantly done :)))

Developer

I'm glad you felt it that way, that was the goal! Thanks a lot !

Nice ambient, sound design is interesting, good work!
(bud separate files for each track would be more practical ~_^)

Developer(+1)

Thanks! It's true that I should have made separate files, I did not think about it, stupidly.....

Awesome job on this! I love the mysterious atmosphere; The sound effects were really well-chosen and didn’t take too much away from the music itself. I do agree with Aesaire, though, that separate files for each track would be nice for the sake of clarity. Still, great composition and sound-design! Thanks for sharing!

Developer

Thanks! I hadn't thought of making separate files, it would have been more practical....

Really nice foley sound design, they really helped create an imaginary physical space while listening.

It would be nice to get separate tracks so I could reference certain points more specifically. I'm guessing "Nothing Last Forever" starts about 5:21, I enjoyed the subdued pianos and contemplative plucks, feels like a satisfying end to the journey.

This is just a nitpick but the rhythm of the heartbeats at the very end when it started speeding up felt slightly unnatural, but other than that the sound design was immaculate.

Developer

Thanks ! the accelerating heartbeats are weird indeed... I will have to work on this again in the future
