Description
Genre: Orchestral
Game: A 3rd person adventure game where you navigate to different island to collect Time Orbs during a 100-days time span.
Here's a brief description of each track:

"The Adventure Prelude": This track serves as the perfect introduction to the game's adventurous spirit, calling the protagonist to action. Inspired by the sound of crashing waves, it features a march-like rhythm and the recurring "Tick Tock" motif, symbolizing the ever-present time constraint.

"Time Versus Time": As the protagonist faces conflicts, "Time Versus Time" intensifies dramatic moments with haunting melodies. A choir of women singing "Tick Tock" in the background adds a haunting element, emphasizing the ever-present race against time.

"The Sea Awaits": Celebrating triumphs, "The Sea Awaits" exudes heroism and joy, accompanying the protagonist's initial victories while hinting at forthcoming challenges. The melody reflects the protagonist's optimism and determination.

"Unfree": Sets the tone for intense but not overwhelmingly challenging battles. It provides a sense of urgency and excitement without overwhelming the player, as it loops during thrilling gameplay moments.

"Storm": This track explores a more mysterious rhythm, serving as a transition after victorious battles, leading to the next level with an organic touch.

"Next Adventure": While the player navigates the sea, "Next Adventure" features a nostalgic yet cheerful harmony, reflecting the excitement of the next endeavor.

"Battle for the Last Orb": Brace for the final showdown to secure the last Time Orb, a pivotal moment in saving the protagonist's people and possibly the entire world.

"Game Over": Experience the weight of defeat as this track plays upon losing a battle during the game.

I used FL Studio and some East West libraries.

Message from the artist:
As the composer behind "Sea of Saviors" OST, I am thrilled to share the captivating musical journey that accompanies players through this epic adventure. Drawing inspiration from classic adventure games like "The Legend of Zelda" and "Chrono Trigger," also some textures of "One Piece", I aimed to craft a soundtrack that enhances the game's immersive experience, infusing it with tension, heroism, and intrigue.

Theme:

Tick Tock...

How does it fit the theme?
The soundtrack seamlessly aligns with the "Tick Tock" Jam theme, creating a cohesive musical journey that mirrors the urgency and time-driven nature of the game. By incorporating actual ticking clock samples and pulsating string ensembles that seem to accelerate, the soundtrack vividly evokes the constant presence of time. The haunting choir of women singing "Tick Tock" in "Time Versus Time" intensifies the dramatic moments, further emphasizing the race against time in the protagonist's quest.

The Adventure Prelude: This sets the tone for a sea-faring adventure very nicely! I like the use of the flute and the french horn melodies in particular! They make this sound like something straight out of Legend of Zelda Wind Waker! The section at 1:11 gives a nice alternative section that feels a little more unsure as if foreshadowing the conflict in your game. I like the ending sound effects with the gentle wave noises. I agree that this definitely is a perfect introduction to your OST!

Time Versus Time: I really like the choral elements of this piece. It gives a sense of determination as it chugs forward. The viola/cello melody that emerges in the second half is very beautiful and gives a sense of optimism in the midst of the dramatic sequences.

The Sea Awaits: I’ve noticed that you do a good job consistently committing to a variation of A and B (and sometimes C) sections which help give variation to your tracks and make them pleasant to listen to on repeat for long periods of time. I’m impressed how you have such a wide variety of musical ideas within each track.

Unfree: You can definitely hear the confidence early in the song. I like how you musically conveyed a sense of doubt with the change in progression to one that is more minor. Then when the music returns to the A section, there is an added element of electronic sound which is a really cool way to introduce new sounds you are going to use in future tracks.

Storm: The electronic elements are new to the soundtrack so far and convey a sense of other-ness which is great for the type of conflict a storm brings. This song serves as a really cool musical segway to the next one.

Next Adventure: Great job of bringing your original ideas into a new style to convey the same adventurous spirit of the protagonist, but now just in a new setting. I really like the rhythm you’ve created!

Battle for the Last Orb: This is a really epic battle introduction theme. It gives a sense of something big looming in the near future and makes me feel suspense. It would have been cool to hear the tempo pick up for the actual battle!

Game Over: Very creative of you to include a game over stinger! This fits the style and feel of your OST while even including a clock ticking effect to make it a perfect stinger to play at the loss of your last life.

Overall: You have a creative and well-developed take on the theme and your use of leitmotif throughout stands out and makes your OST feel very cohesive. While your music alone does not necessarily make me think of time as a theme, the story you have created to accompany the music makes perfect sense why you chose each element of your music and this would be a really fun game to play! Great work and thank you for sharing!

The Adventure Prelude: Very RPG sounding, gives me Dragon Quest vibes. Effective intro!

Time Versus Time: Epic stuff. Love the choirs.

The Sea Awaits: Nice triumphant brass. Perfectly captures sea overworld vibes. Reminds me of Wind Waker.

Unfree: Gives me sea battle vibes. Cool upbeat mood and rhythm.

Storm: Liking the introduction of electronic elements to the ost here.

Next Adventure: Like the use of Dorian mode in the beginning. I love when the long strings and mute sax come in after the halfway point, plus those chord choices. That whole section is my favorite part of this OST!

Battle for the Last Orb: Very cool sound after the halfway point. Cool battle theme!

Game Over: Effective choices for a game over theme, this works well.

Good work!

It's actually impressive to deliver this many tracks of good quality! I also thought the guy on the cover was Saw Paing from Kengan for a second there lmao.

Really interesting collection of musical ideas and themes. The musical variety is what I enjoyed the most out of this suite—it's cohesive enough to never stand out as inconsistent or corny. You love to hear it. Great job!

the mixing and strings sound so clean in this!!  it feels very organic.  I especially liked how off kilter Storm felt- lends itself well to the adventurous, mysterious feel

You are the first composer I've come across in this jam to include a Game Over track. Nice touch! You clearly put a lot of thought into the world and story beats of the game.

In ''The Adventure Prelude'' I really want to embark on an epic quest to save their land from a foretold catastrophe. Great esthetic and concept. All the songs sound like a single concept, related to each other. Great work!
