I'm a huge ambient fanatic and I really loved the sinister and ominous / sovereign vibe in your OST.
Well done!
Really minimalistic but just enough to evoke the right feeling! I like the soundscapes created!
These are actually really awesome atmospheric tracks! Not sure if I pictured it properly, but I imagined a horror/thriller visual novel game where it's far in the apocalyptic future and your mc is hiding out in a metro system to soon realize that they also aren't safe neither out there nor in there cuz there's a monster and yk stuff. Kinda like Varney Lake, a bit old-school choices-matter vn.
A lot of entries wanted to jam a ton of musical ideas into their tracks, in a way that would make them really unsuitable accompaniments to gameplay. You've given us VGM that lives and imparts character without having to cram the signal with 12 different sounds at once (I am admittedly guilty of this as well). I'm glad minimalism had a strong showing in this jam, and yours was one of the most pared-down and effective minimalist soundtracks in the whole thing. Cheers.
Nice work with melodies in ambient... works perfectly as BMG, wanna try the game now ^_^.
The vibes on this one are incredible, I love it!
1st track sets the vibe quite well with some interesting synths -- 2nd track adds some strangeness to the mix, 3rd has a very cool underground vibe as you've described -- overall the sounds you use for this are quite relaxing, 4th track adds a bit of intensity (but not very much) 5 returns us essentially to the beginning.
Overall I don't really hear the correlation to theme but it was nice, very creative use of sounds though
